    Many decisions concerning war and peace are being made these days by those who have never worn the uniform of the United States, and in some cases, have stated their "loathing" and disrespect for the military. I believe I have come up with a remedy to that sorry situation. I propose that certain Federal offices be open only to those who have served in the Armed Forces and been discharged honorably. Those offices would include President, Vice-President, Secretaries of State, Defense, Energy and Veterans Affairs (including major undersecretaries) and U.S. Senator.
