IBM has signed a deal with New York City, specifically the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). The MTA is the nation's biggest transportation system, offering buses (under the New York City Transit Authority and the Long Island Bus system), subways (again, under the New York City Transit Authority), toll-collection and roadways into and out of Manhattan (under MTA Bridges and Tunnels), and commuter rail (under the Long Island Rail Road and Metro North Railroad systems).
