<p>Former Blaine City Council member David White has started a petition to recall U.S. Sen. Patty Murray from office for comments she made recently about terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.</p>
<p>White said he will begin circulating the petition soon and will ask the Whatcom County Republican Party to solicit signatures, then present the petition to federal officials.</p>
