California high school history teacher Julianne Benzel is on paid suspension after engaging her students in a discussion where she shared her perspective on the politics of organized protests in anticipation of the National School Walkout, which took place on the morning of March 14. “We had a dialogue in class about it in Thursday and Friday. And today I received the call. So I am aghast,” Benzel told CBS Sacramento. Benzel said that she questioned her students as to the appropriateness of schools sanctioning a protest against gun violence and whether the school administration was willing to allow protests...

Chicago, IL – A crowd of students swarmed a south side strip mall during Wednesday’s National Walkout Day demonstration, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. “They pretty much trashed this whole area,” GameStop manager Robert Owens told Blue Lives Matter on Thursday. Not all of the protests were peaceful. On Chicago’s South Side, Simeon Career Academy students descended on businesses situated in a strip mall behind the school, and began harassing customers and employees. “Things started out cool,” a Potbelly Sandwich Shop manager, who did not want to be further identified, told Blue Lives Matter. “But then some...

Several hundred DC area high school students skipped school (after all these snow days) to hold an "anti-war" demonsatration at DuPont Circle in Washington, D.C. The rally is well-attended by the media. There is a small sound system in use; the student speakers are all repeating the marxist indoctrination slogans. There is a sign calling them "D.C. Area Students for Peace." The speakers are calling for more money for education -- their education. As an aside, D.C. and Montgomery County school systems are two of the best funded educations systems in the country with an average cost of about $9,000...
