Sky News is now streaming its TV channel for free over its website 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Despite Rupert Murdoch's mumblings about charging for all online content, the site is free - for now at least. Murdoch said yesterday that it was time for aggregators and search engines must start paying for news content - a slight refinement on previous announcements which seemed to want to get some money out of the readers.

Was watching Imus this morning and they did a business news break, and one of the items was, that as of today FBN was putting up their live broadcast on the internet? My, my, and this, days after their lawyers did the whole cease and desist bit with online sites hosting their programming! >B-) Anyone know if FNC is, hopefully, doing the same?

Yes, Virginia, there is an answer to regular television and its steady secular humanism and hedonism. The Christian message can get out there on cable, broadband and Internet. One example aimed at both kids and adults is “WOW, The CatholicTV Challenge.” With hints of the popular quiz show “Jeopardy” and the long-running adult favorite “Kids Say the Darndest Things,” this fast-moving game, designed by Father Robert Reed for CatholicTV of the Archdiocese of Boston, can be subtitled, “Kids Say the Holiest Things.” Think you’re challenged about being as smart as a fifth-grader when you watch the popular Fox game show?...

In what some might consider an “audacious” move, Audi of America has bought the inauguration of the next president of the United States. And that’s not hyperbole. In a move that is likely to offend many, Audi has purchased exclusive sponsorship of the streaming broadcasts on four major news websites, ABCNews.com, CBSNews.com, MSNBC.com and WashingtonPost.com. Audi notes that this is “the first time a sponsor has brought MSNBC.com’s live stream of the presidential inauguration speech to viewers commercial free and the first time CBSNews.com will have an exclusive sponsor of the speech online.”. . .According to Johan de Nysschen, president of...

As luck would have it I'm moving the middle of this week. My satellite service can't hook me up until Friday. The debate is Thursday. But I will have Internet. I can project whatever comes across onto my TV. Does anyone know of places streaming the debate LIVE? C-SPAN?

We view the Olympics as a global sporting tradition and consider ourselves citizens of the world, so we don't have much patience with country-specific broadcasting rights. Thus, we're happy that we (and you) can watch the Olympics live right here on on SAI. (Frankly, we wish we could watch the Olympics on NBCOlympics.com, because their feed is marvelously crisp, but of course NBC is doing everything it can to prevent that. Specifically, NBC is trying to make us watch tonight, on tape delay, when the opening cermonies will be as stale as yesterday's bread. And when they do broadcast events...

With my PPC-6700 Sprint phone I can stream all of the talk radio I want. But my relative has a Blackberry and would like to do the same. Any suggestions?

Over the past few days, I have given a "Heads Up" to Freepers about Fox airing their original 9/11 footage on an internet link that I had bookmarked. Some of you caught it and many of you wanted to. Well, Fox has made it official. They will air the broadcast tommorrow morning starting at 8:30 a.m. EDT and it will be time synched to the original events. The link given above does not go to a website other than their main one, so you have to tune in tomorrow to get their actual link. However, if I were a betting...

Fox News has been running internet coverage of 9/11 events on an unpublished internet stream. I have been watching the coverage since this afternoon after I discovered the link was active. At midnight EDT, Fox just rolled over the coverage and restarted it with Fox and Friends at 8 a.m. EDT, Tuesday September 11. The Windows Media Player link can be found here: http://foxnews-foxstream.wm.llnwd.net/foxnews_foxstream
