For those more tech-savvy than myself, exaclty what is Silverlight and should I bother install it or not?
Maybe FoxNews will be next!!!!!!!!!
COOLLLL
silverlight is microsoft version of adobe flash, that we use to watch videos on youtube
What else is it good for?
Silverlight is Microsoft’s direct challenger to Flash (which powers YouTube and countless other sites that serve up animations, audio, video, or all of the above).
It is safe to install/use it.
Microsoft bashers may insert anti-MS japes here.
For better or worse Sky is restricting the feed based on the end-user’s location, i.e., users outside the British Isles will get the international feed.
play media, online games etc, pretty much what adobe flash can do. Silverlight is new and not as popular as flash though. Not sure which is better, but I’m getting a bit annoyed with flash because of its memory hog and its taking them forever to fix
I’d love to see IPTV be the next wave of conservative media.
