Financial markets early Wednesday were moving in a way consistent with a reduced likelihood of a second Donald Trump presidency. Though a key inflation report was looming, cross-asset movements suggested who traders believed had won. U.S. stock futures were modestly lower. The dollar fell vs. major rivals, particularly the Japanese yen Bitcoin slumped by 2%. Trump Media and Technology which tends to move in line with the likelihood of Trump winning the presidency, skidded 15% in premarket trade.

Rishi Sunak will become the next U.K. prime minister after his last competitor, Penny Mordaunt, withdrew, just minutes before a deadline to get support from 100 lawmakers. Sunak, the former chancellor of the exchequer, will become the first ethnic minority leader of the U.K. Sunak is set to speak in the next half hour.

Steven Goldstein, executive director of the Anne Frank Center, screamed at Trump supporter Kayleigh McEnany yesterday on CNN and insisted Trump is a virulent anti-semite. Even though Goldstein was totally unhinged and stared McEnany down like he wanted to murder her, leftists with Trump Derangement Syndrome viewed the interview as some sort of huge victory.
