The White House .. avoided condemning China's handing of protests.. Crowds have gathered to protest its 'zero COVID' policy of lockdowns ... White House .. would not be speaking up for protesters ... U.S. embassy in Beijing warned Americans in China to be prepared for quarantines, transport disruptions and lockdowns. ... Rep. Kevin McCarthy, likely to be the next House speaker, tweeted: 'The Chinese Communist Party’s lockdowns have imprisoned people against their will—many have died. QUIX’S WARRIOR AT HEART CAMP EXPERIENCES & PERSPECTIVES This past Thursday evening through Sunday noon, I was blessed by a precious wheel-chair-bound church brother (agent orange afflicted vet) with a pre-paid WARRIOR AT HEART CAMP weekend at CAMP RED CLOUD high up in the Colorado mountains from Lake City Colorado. It is reportedly the most remote camp facility of its type in the Nation. The structure of the experience was somewhat conventional. A) There were the John Eldridge WILD AT HEART videos. Warrior At Heart is an off-shoot of that movement began by John Eldridge (RANSOMED HEART). B) There...

Never in history has a war been avoided through words. Ultimately a die is cast, and speech must surrender to armed conflict. Only after the despots are defeated, can reason prevail. Abraham Lincoln once said “I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts.” In America today that is the...

I apologize for the vanity post. I do them infrequently. But I am at an impasse and I'd like some advice. My congressman is Keith Ellison, the first Muslim-American to be elected to Congress. Keith Ellison is disreputable (as was proven when he first ran for Congress in 2006) and an extremely liberal Democrat. More than likely, he's one of those who thinks Obama's plan doesn't go far enough. I'd like to write him and express my disgust at the health care plan and urge him to vote NO. But at the same time, I wonder if it's wasted time....

CHIBA ZOOLOGICAL PARK Friday, May 20, 2005 at 07:55 JST Futa, a two-year-old male panda, is proving a hit at Chiba Zoological Park. He can stand on two legs like a human being for about 10 seconds, an unusual feat for the species, zoo officials say.
