A leading human rights group has called on Dunkin' Donuts to withdraw a "bizarre and racist" advertisement for chocolate doughnuts in Thailand that shows a smiling woman with bright pink lips in blackface makeup. Human Rights Watch said it was shocked to see an American brand name running an advertising campaign that would draw "howls of outrage" if released in the United States. The CEO for Dunkin' Donuts in Thailand dismissed the criticism as "paranoid American thinking." "It's absolutely ridiculous," said CEO Nadim Salhani. "We're not allowed to use black to promote our doughnuts? I don't get it. What's the...

A Columbia State Community College psychology professor did not infringe on students’ First Amendment rights or discriminate against religious beliefs when she asked her classes to wear gay pride ribbons as part of an assignment. That was the conclusion of an in-house investigation into complaints about the classroom activities of Dr. Linda Brunton, who made the assignment for students to experience prejudice against gays and report on the experience. “A thorough investigation of the allegations of first amendment issues and discrimination by Dr. Brunton in regard to her psychology assignment has been completed. The college is satisfied with the investigation...

American intelligence agencies had indications three days beforehand that the Syrian regime was poised to launch a lethal chemical attack that killed more than a thousand people and has set the stage for a possible U.S. military strike on Syria. The disclosure -- part of a larger U.S. intelligence briefing on Syria's chemical attacks -- raises all sorts of uncomfortable questions for the American government. First and foremost: What, if anything, did it do to notify the Syrian opposition of the pending attack?

The U.S. military, struggling after defense cuts of tens of billions of dollars, will be unable to pay for attacks on Syria from current operating funds and must seek additional money from Congress, according to congressional aides. President Barack Obama, meanwhile, said on Friday he has not made a final decision on a military strike against Syria. He sought to play down both the scope and duration of the anticipated punitive missile and bombing campaign.

Ghouta, Syria — As the machinery for a U.S.-led military intervention in Syria gathers pace following last week’s chemical weapons attack, the U.S. and its allies may be targeting the wrong culprit. Interviews with people in Damascus and Ghouta, a suburb of the Syrian capital, where the humanitarian agency Doctors Without Borders said at least 355 people had died last week from what it believed to be a neurotoxic agent, appear to indicate as much. The U.S., Britain, and France as well as the Arab League have accused the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for carrying out the chemical...

'We give thanks, oh Lord, for the doctors, both current and future, who provide quality abortion care' If your political goal is to murder as many of the unborn as is humanly possible, no one should be surprised that you're constantly taking the rhetoric to new depths. Today's sick twisting of religion comes to us from a pro-abortion rally in Iowa. There, Des Moines activist Midge Slater delivered one of the creepiest prayers you're ever going to hear. In attendance were Iowa Democrat gubernatorial candidates Jack Hatch and Tyler Olson. We can only presume that their grasp on religion is...

Earlier this month, Georgia discovered a way to obstruct the implementation of Obamacare, causing Democrats across the country to condemn the state’s Department of Insurance for obstructing President Barack Obama’s beloved Affordable Care Act.

In early August, Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens explained the obstruction method to a crowd of enthusiastic Georgians. Obamacare created many positions within each state’s healthcare exchange for “insurance agents,” or employees that sign customers up for Obamacare coverage.

Fourth-grade students in Illinois are learning that “government is like a nation’s family” because it sets rules and takes care of needs such as health care and education. One of the world’s leading human rights groups is upset over a new “bizarre and racist” donut ad airing in Thailand claiming Americans would “howl” with outrage if we saw it. Which we won’t because Dunkin’ Donuts Thailand and America are separate organizations. Dunkin’ Donuts in Thailand has launched a new ad for its “Charcoal Donut” that features “a female model with dark skin and bright pink lips,” the Daily Mail reported. “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Will he not first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? Luke 14:31 Chicken-Hawks like Obomber and Carter would be cute when they were saber rattling if they were not so dangerous. They are like the biggest wimp on the playground going up and throwing a limp wristed punch at the playground bully. You just know it isn’t going to end well for the geek. After lecturing Bush for ten years about...

Iowa Democrat gubernatorial candidates Jack Hatch and Tyler Olson joined 50 pro-abortion activists in an extended prayer for abortion rights during a rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday. The noon event was meant to fire-up liberals prior to an afternoon hearing across the street conducted by the Iowa Board of Medicine regarding tele-med abortions. They made the unusual decision, for Democrats, to begin the event with a prayer. This was likely in response to a prayer vigil being conducted by pro-life activists at the same time nearby. Des Moines activist Midge Slater took the podium and spent five and...

For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods. Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.(Psalm 97:9-10)We have been striving to attain the simplest and clearest definition of repentance as possible. We have examined the mental aspects of it, for repentance is first of all a matter of ‘rethinking’ the important things, that people are prone to rationalize, such as God, the soul, Heaven,Hell and judgment, and the plan of salvation. Everyone has thoughts about these...

Has another man been elected president that has refused to reveal his college records? ObamaFraud claims he graduated college, but he's never had to prove it. If I went around telling people I awarded the Medal of Honor, I would have to show the special orders. If I applied for a job and told the employer I had a college degree I would have to show the transcript. I know this to be a fact because I use to credential people applying for a job in the Federal government, i.e, the VA hospital. All Federal jobs have the same credentialing...
