PORTLAND, Ore. A bar owner has been ordered to pay $400,000 to a group of cross-dresser he banned from his club last year.
The Oregonian reports the Bureau of Labor and Industries civil rights division imposed the penalty against Chris Penner, owner of the Twilight Room Annex. Penner had told members of the Rose City T-Girls they could not return to his bar.

Whatever happened to “we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone not wearing appropriate dress?”
Apparently fascist don’t like that.
Surreal!
Our country is dead, don’t you see it?
And about to start another war while being bankrupt.
"It's just terrible, officer. I didn't see which way they went when they left here."
Sounds like he banned them because they were wearing a dress.
I’m getting some women’s clothing and a lawyer and headed to Portland.

Quit serving Shirley Temples to the T-Girls and they’ll find a new club.

I’ve seen this comment a number of times lately on FR. I would think that action is no longer legal since the 60s but not sure on that.
Obama’s Queer Agenda is steamrollering America.
I recall while in college two of us went into a bar we were unfamiliar with (new to the neighborhood). It was a lez bar. One dyke walked up to us and very menacingly said: "You boys really do not want to be here"
Our eyes now adjusted to the dim light, looked around and we agreed.
End of two unwanted customers.
the “t-city—”girls” evidently convinced that judge that their frilly pink frocks were Appropriate dresses....
I am sorry for him but I hope he declares bankruptcy and that's that....
and when did the desire to dress up become a protected action?......these cross dresses aren't necessarily transgendered...so now we're giving constitutional rights to behavior....
so if I want to wear a rodeo clown costume to work at my hospital I should be able to right?......
Better yet, whatever happened to OUR right of freedom of association, to associate with whomever we please? Now we are told who we have to associate with.
No, you still see that all the time. "No shoes, no shirt, no service", "Coat and Tie required".
You can't ban someone on racial grounds, but appropriate dress, absolutely.

I see signs all the time requiring a certain kind of dress at restaurants and bars—no flip flops, no swim suits, etc.
The bar owner might have decided this group was disrupting his business by grossing out other customers and creating a hostile environment. Is he supposed to tolerate that because these freaks are LGBT protected/sacred? Apparently the answer is yes.
