President Trump’s sole Republican primary challenger is calling on the commander-in-chief to step down. “If Donald Trump is an American patriot, he should resign from office,” former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld wrote in an op-ed Wednesday appearing in The Bulwark, a conservative news and opinion website. Republican Sen. Mitt Romney says he's "sickened" by the level of dishonesty the special counsel found in President Donald Trump's administration. The one-time GOP presidential nominee tweeted that it's "good news" Trump was not charged with wrongdoing in the investigation. But Romney, who's now a senator from Utah, was critical of what he called the "pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection" at the highest levels of the administration, "including the president."

Joe the Plumber became a household name during Sen. John McCain's 2008 campaign, but now the man also known as Sam Wurzelbacher has harsh words for the former Republican presidential candidate.
