LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- An explosion was reported at a closed gas station in the 1400 block of Dixie Highway. Louisville police said several people reported an explosion at the corner of Dixie Highway and Standard Avenue around 12:15 p.m. Thursday. The explosion damaged a truck. Officials said a man was using a chainsaw between the gas station and another building and the sparks set residual gas fumes on fire. There were no injuries reported.
