Hawaii State Senator Sam Slom said that questioning the president about his birth certificate is legitimate. State Sen. Slom hasn’t seen evidence of an Obama Birth Certificate but says it is possible that the president was born in Hawaii. The problem according to Sen. Slom is what is actually on the president’s documents. Apparently, there is something on his records so adverse to the presidency that he doesn’t want the American people to see and that has caused him to hide his records including but not limited to; school, college, original passport and Illinois state senator records. The lone Republican in the Hawaii State Senate told a radio interviewer today he believes "the real issue" stopping Barack Obama from releasing his long-form birth certificate is something the president has to hide, perhaps even the name of his actual birth father. State Senate Minority Leader Sam Slom has urged Gov. Neil Abercrombie to provide additional information regarding the governor's decision to ask Dr. Neal Palafox to withdraw his nomination as director of the state Department of Health. Abercrombie asked Palafox to withdraw his nomination in January but has not disclosed the reason. A television news report, citing unnamed sources, said Palafox was involved in a medical reimbursement investigation.
