Who among us could have guessed a few years back that today gender ideology would be the clearest, most divisive matter of contention separating the American left from the right? To those reasonably grounded in reality, the notion that gender is fluid, that a Supreme Court Justice would be unable to define the word “woman,” that men can give birth, and that children can and should be mutilated if they are confused about their own gender identity is not only sheer lunacy, it is barbaric. But the left’s commitment to those ideas is total; it’s the hill on which they...

Abortion warps one of the most natural loves in the world – that of a mother for her child. But many in the media, along with abortion activists and organizations, missed the irony as they took advantage of Mother’s Day to call for unrestricted abortion. The pro-life movement recognizes that motherhood begins at conception, when another human life begins to grow inside of a woman. But, according to organizations like Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion provider, abortion allows women who are already pregnant to choose motherhood.“Happy Mother's Day!” Planned Parenthood Action tweeted on May 12. “It’s important now more than ever to...

RUSH: Okay. CALLER: And it just came out this year, and I started reading it to the girls I was babysitting, and I'm horrified by what is in it. It basically completely redefines marriage. WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Supreme Court is taking a pass on a Washington state case about the rights of a gay parent. The high court has refused to stop a lesbian from seeking parental rights to a child she helped raise with her partner. Justices might have used the case to clarify child custody disputes in nontraditional families. But they declined without comment. The Washington state Supreme Court said Sue Ellen Carvin is a "de facto parent" and could pursue parental rights with a girl who is now 11 years old. The girl's biological mother, Page Britain, said that could...

Former Warren County teacher, Pamela Rogers is back in jail after making further contact with the teenager she’s been forbidden to talk to. Slay bells are ringing outside a $3 million brownstone on East 18th Street in Manhattan, where, rather than your typical jolly St. Nick, a skinny, bloody-bearded Santa holds a knife in his left hand and the severed head of a doll - blood gushing from its eye sockets - in the other. This 'tis-the-season-to be-creepy display - which has drawn no small amount of community ire - can be found in the front yard of Joel Krupnik, 58, and his wife, Mildred Castellanos, 43, who said they are protesting the commercialization of the Yule season. In another touch of Christmas...

After a San Jose police officer pleaded guilty this morning to allegations that he molested his 11-month-old daughter, attorneys in the case described for the first time the videotaped evidence of the incident that led to his arrest last week. Stephen Gallagher, 49, was arrested on Feb. 2 after the child's mother reported the encounter that occurred the night before, while Gallagher was babysitting, at her home in unincorporated Morgan Hill. Deputy District Attorney James Gibbons-Shapiro said the mother installed a security camera commonly known as a "nanny cam'' because she suspected Gallagher of drinking alcohol around their daughter. Addressing...
