Republican Sharron Angle has surged to a four point lead in the Nevada Senate race, leading Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) 49 percent to 45 percent, according to new polling. The CNN/Time poll, released Wednesday, is particularly striking because it is the first public, live caller poll conducted in the Senate race in about two weeks. In previous polls, Reid and Angle had been in a statistical dead heat.

A conservative watchdog group is calling on Nevada officials to intervene to ensure SEIU workers who operate one county's voting machines don't skew the results to boost their endorsed candidate, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. A contract between SEIU Local 1107 and Clark County -- where voting glitches were reported Tuesday -- makes the SEIU the sole union representative for, among other professions, voting machine technicians.

During the president's recent appearance on the televised female coffee klatch, The View, he suggested that Joy Behar become the "attack dog" she said he needed to fight back against conservatives.  And Ms. Behar seems to have taken the idea to heart. When the producers played a Sharon Angle ad, which made moral mincemeat out of Harry Reid's illegal immigration enabling positions, Ms. Behar responded with attack-dog fury.  Behaving as the uncivil shrew that she has more and more lately become, Ms. Behar responded to the Angle ad by declaring the candidate a "bitch" who was surely "going to hell."...

If only Sarah Palin hadn't promoted the likes of Sharron Angle and Christine O'Donnell, Republicans would be on the verge of winning the Senate majority. That was Joe Scarborough's thesis on Morning Joe today, culminating in Scarborough saying that he hopes Sarah Palin "is proud of herself" for having killed the GOP's chances. Yesterday, The View’s Joy Behar said “She’s [Sharron Angle] going to hell, this bitch!” Behar also compared Angle’s latest ad to a “Hitler Youth” commercial.
