Russians Warn ‘Titanic Efforts’ Are Underway to Disrupt the Trump-Putin Meeting in Alaska
Gateway Pundit ^ | Aug. 9, 2025 | by Paul Serran

Posted on 08/09/2025 3:28:49 PM PDT by Kazan

As a result of the eleventh-hour trip from US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to Moscow, a meeting between Donald J. Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin became a reality – and what’s more, both sides now firmly believe that there’s an acceptable plan being negotiated that will put an end to the war in Ukraine.

What exactly this plan is the public hasn’t been told, which leaves plenty of space for the MSM to fill in the blanks with propaganda aimed at disrupting the summit and the peace progress.

Besides that, there’s also the fact that – as expected – Ukraine has been put in a secondary position, out of the main discussion – and the same goes for any of the war-mongering European leaders.

What ensues is that, just as soon as it has been confirmed that US President Donald J. Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin will meet in Alaska, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has taken to the internet to try to disrupt the proceedings and reject a plan that hasn’t even been presented yet.

But that’s not all: Russia’s Special Envoy for investment and economic cooperation Kirill Dmitriev alerted that ‘certain countries’ will make ‘titanic efforts’ in order to disrupt the Trump-Putin meeting next Friday, August 15.

Reuters reported:

“Trump had said earlier that Russia and Ukraine were close to a ceasefire deal that could resolve the three-and-a-half-year conflict. The contents of the deal have yet to be announced, but it could require Ukraine to surrender significant territory – an outcome many European nations oppose. Dmitriev accused unnamed countries of seeking to prolong the war.

‘Undoubtedly, a number of countries interested in continuing the conflict will make titanic efforts to disrupt the planned meeting between President Putin and President Trump’, he said in a post in his Telegram account, specifying that by efforts he meant ‘provocations and disinformation’’.”

While Dmitriev did not specify which countries he was referring to, we all know that the European ‘allies’ to the US have an interest in keep dialing the anti-Russian frenzy to the max.

The Ukrainians are not going to give up any land, so there is no need for any negotiations.

Russia needs only to leave.

That is the only end to this.

Amazing how American press actively works against the American president when they don’t like him. If its a globalist libsoc brother of theirs, they demonize anyone against him.

Do you mean “Ukraine is not going to agree to give up any more land than has already been permanently taken from them and is never coming back to the?”
Is that what you meant because that’s not what you posted and what you posted doesn’t make sense.
Kind of like the posters here that just repeat “Russia invaded, now they just have to pack up and leave and everything’s ok again.” They don’t appear to be inclined to pack up and leave. So for those posting this, what is the next other, different step?

Perhaps you should study a bit of history. NATO broke their agreements on Ukraine. It’s not black and white.

TASS:
“European politicians seek either to draw US President Donald Trump into an anti-Russian coalition, or to prevent the conclusion of peace and the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. The politician also added that such developments could undermine the positions of European politicians based on anti-Russian rhetoric.
“Everything will be decided by [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and Trump”, US democrats, the EU and Starmer all have TDS!

Even the Russians know this is a move to create more chaos when the Trump administration is focused on returning to order and peace. Starmer, the EU, US democrats and punk Zelensky are all trying to throw a wrench in this meeting before it even starts. Screw ‘em! Same leftist shit different day.

“Russia needs only to leave. That is the only end to this.”

I kind of doubt that Russia will surrender.

As was presented in the very first report of Witkoff’s proposal the matter of Ukraine ceding land is finessed.

They will de facto lose the land to conquest. That matter ends with no signature.

Now as for folks that anticipate Ukraine guerilla activity, if the US is a signatory to the document then any such activity becomes terrorism, regardless of source of funding. State sponsored terrorism would be declared by the US, especially if Americans are on site throughout the Donbas trying to find minerals and get hit by guerillas.

The ceasefire document would be pretty clear about Euro troops in Ukraine, that this would end the ceasefire and makes them top priority. Europe has made clear in its talk of troops that they could only deploy if there is a ceasefire in place and there is no risk to those troops.

The remainder of Ukraine gets :

No more pro Russian votes in its elections from the Donbas, that have in the past (per 2014) elected pro Russia candidates.

A nice transit free from GAZPROM for the gas traversing Ukraine to Europe. They were getting this before, but then started stealing gas and seeing their price elevated.

The territory tradeoff likely gets them land north of Sumy presently occupied by Russia, but trades that for Kharkiv.

Anyway that’s how the Witkoff proposal looks. Zelensky not wanting to sign doesn’t have to stop anything. US sanctions shutting off is semi immediate when the guns stop shooting.

And most subtle of all, the EU buying US arms to send to Ukraine, that will stop by itself. They don’t want to send profits to Boeing and Lockheed from their ECB printed money. They want to have their own military companies, but no one will likely allow Germany to have any, and they control the ECB. And so, Ukraine can have all the support the EU wants to buy, and it won’t want to buy any.

Trump had said earlier that Russia and Ukraine were close to a ceasefire deal that could resolve the three-and-a-half-year conflict.

So, is it true?

Surely Trump wouldn't say it if BOTH sides were close, or is he trying to steer both into this position?

Good summary. With one slight modification I would like to add. It doesn’t matter if they want to invest in their own MIC, because BlackRock, Vanguard, And State Street are just as invested in their MIC as they are Boeing and Lockheed. They make the same profits either way, just a different source.

Everyone dogging that Ukraine will NEVER agree to cede the land are mistaken. They have no other way. Fighting is done and cannot accomplish the impossible. They are going to cede Crimea and Donbas and told Trump.

The Ukrainians are not going to give up any land, so there is no need for any negotiations.

According to the maps I looks at, they've given up a lot of land.

You mean they’re freezing Leonardo de Crapio in the North Atlantic? No. He’s aged gracefully and matured as an actor. On the other hand, he’s a leftard. So go right ahead.
