Forget dialing and driving, an Owen Sound teen learned the perils of texting and cycling over the weekend. Owen Sound Police charged the 16-year-old boy with careless driving on Sunday after slamming into a parked car while he was texting someone on his cellphone. The teen was writing a message on his phone and riding his bike around 11 a.m. Sunday. "The cyclist was not paying attention and collided with the rear of a vehicle parked on 4th Ave. W.," cops said in a release. BOCA RATON — A 69-year-old Delray Beach man discovered the perils of not doing enough for bicyclists to think he was sharing the road with them. A group of angry cyclists confronted him last week, accusing him of passing them too closely on State Road A1A in Boca Raton.
