Dec. 15 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania library revealed a copy of Chauncey Brewster Tinker's classic Beowulf was recently returned after being checked out 54 years earlier. The Sewickley Public Library said in an Instagram post that Beowulf was checked out in January 1969 and wasn't returned until this month. The overdue book would have accrued nearly $1,000 in fines under the 5-cent-per-day policy of the late 1960s. "In reality, we would have charged the cost of this item since it's been gone so long. Rochelle Pinkle, an aide at the Sewickley school, allegedly stabbed the school nurse twice in the back, then grabbed the student and led him at knifepoint back inside her bus, WTAE-TV said. She released the teen after police arrived but struggled with the cops and had to...

Ben Roethlisberger broke pandemic restrictions to get his hair cut and beard trimmed, along with a small recording crew, for a video the Steelers quarterback put out on his Twitter account Monday. Governor Tom Wolf doesn’t want Roethlisberger, or anyone to break coronavirus restrictions in that way. “My concern is just a general concern and anybody who puts himself or herself into harm’s way is something i think we ought to try to avoid,” Wolf said in response to a question about Roethlisberger specifically. "And when you go to something like a barbershop and you’re not protected, I don’t care...
