At 926 words, it is well under the site’s 1000-word limit, and I “bleeped” all foul language with dashes. And yet, Amazon’s politburo killed the review without explanation.) Waking the Dead is perfectly mediocre: 50 percent wonderful, and 50 percent dreadful.
