Double postings of items of interest are common. Most of the time, folks here do check before they post. If it is a newly reported item - once one has checked to make sure it is not posted - it takes time to make a new post. Some of us here are slower than others. Usually because we want to verify, clarify, and check the story over all. To those that are quick to jump with condemnation, please consider this, you are no better than the media that rush to publish a story without verification.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) struggles to appeal personally to voters despite her popular policies, Axios reporter Alexi McCammond said on MSNBC Monday. McCammond discussed her article arguing that voters find Warren's left-wing policies appealing but have "qualms" about the Massachusetts senator's personality. Voters "liked things like canceling student loan debt, they liked the idea of taxing corporations and the wealthy because they feel like it will help people like them personally, but they didn't like Elizabeth Warren's personality," McCammond said.

(CNN)Twenty-four hours after Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren shocked the political world with a five-minute video (and a mountain of documentation) aimed at putting to bed the controversy over her claims of Native American heritage, it's becoming increasingly clear the strategy amounts to a swing and a miss. Warren's goal was to take the issue of her heritage off the table for nervous Democrats and to show that she was ready, willing and able to stand up to President Donald Trump if and when the time came that she was the party's nominee against him in 2020. The problem is that,...

Albright: Bush is the worst President in American history Sunday, January 13, 2008 - 01:30 PM LONDON, ( SANA) _ Former American Secretary of State Madeleine Albright has described the American President George Bush as " one of the worst presidents in the American history." That came in her book published at the beginning of this week. Albright, in her book, which the London-based al-Hayat newspaper issued excerpts from it yesterday, put some advices in front of the next American President who enters the White House in Jan, 21 2009. She said: " The most important priorities for the next...

HERE WE WERE on Wednesday, a nation of political junkies gathered around our televisions to watch the candidates debate each other one last time, and we had as a moderator one Carolyn Washburn, the editor of the Des Moines Register. I don't mean to go all East-coast-elitist on you; I'm sure there are people in Iowa who could capably moderate a presidential debate. Unfortunately, and obviously, Carolyn Washburn is not one of them. The bulk of the post-debate analysis will probably focus on how maladroit Washburn was at the job. She did the impossible--she moderated the last Iowa debate between...
