Hydroxychloroquine appears to be a safe and effective treatment option for anogenital lichen sclerosus that only has mild adverse effects, according to a study. Christeebella O. Akpala and colleagues analyzed the demographic characteristics, clinicopathological features, treatment response, and outcomes of 70 patients diagnosed with either anogenital or extragenital lichen sclerosus who received hydroxychloroquine therapy (2018 to 2023). The researchers found that 36% of patients had a connective tissue disorder, prompting hydroxychloroquine therapy. Of the 30 patients treated solely for lichen sclerosus, 21 showed a response, and nine had no response. The overall response among those with anogenital lichen sclerosus was...

Kansas on Monday sued Pfizer, accusing the company of misleading the public about its COVID-19 vaccine by hiding risks while making false claims about its effectiveness. In a lawsuit filed in the District Court of Thomas County, the state said the New York-based drugmaker’s alleged false statements violated the Kansas Consumer Protection Act. London -- A team of scientists from the world’s leading universities have developed a new all-in-one vaccine that they hope can protect humans against a broad range of coronaviruses, including ones that are yet to emerge. The research published in ‘Nature Nanotechnology’ on Monday is based on a new approach to vaccine development called “proactive vaccinology”, where scientists build a vaccine before the disease-causing pathogen even emerges, which has shown promising results in mice. The study by the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge in the UK and Caltech in the US says the vaccine works by training the body’s immune...

cell study from Brown University has found that the spike protein from SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), helps cancer cells survive and resist chemotherapy. According to the study, led by Dr. Wafik El-Deiry, the director of Brown’s Legorreta Cancer Center, spike protein may promote cancer survival and growth through interference with anti-cancer activities, blocking the function of a crucial cancer suppressor gene known as p53. El-Deiry and his colleagues observed that when cancer cells encountered spike protein subunits, it reduced the activity of p53, a protein that helps defend the body against tumors. This allowed the...

A comprehensive review by an international consortium of scientists has raised serious concerns about the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines’ safety profile. Review articles are summaries of current research on a particular topic. They are also sometimes called literature reviews or secondary sources. The review, “N1-methyl-pseudouridine (m1Ψ): Friend or foe of cancer?” published on Science Direct, delves into the potential implications of a vaccine ingredient—N1-methyl-pseudouridine (m1Ψ)—that may play a role in immune suppression and cancer proliferation. m1Ψ was incorporated into Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 mRNA vaccine to enhance its efficacy. This component was introduced in the mRNA vaccine as a means to produce a...

Data quietly published by a host of countries across Europe reveals that excess deaths among children are still occurring at an alarming rate as we enter the spring of 2024. The deaths cannot be blamed on COVID-19 because the data has proven the alleged virus and disease rarely harms children, if at all. And the terrible trend only began when the European Medicines Agency extended Emergency Use Authorisation (EUA) of the COVID-19 vaccines to children in the middle of Spring of 2021. Before this. excess deaths among children among children were in negative figures. With the year 2020, the height...

World renowned CV19 critical care and pulmonary expert Dr. Pierre Kory was one of the first to call for Ivermectin to treat Covid in the early days of the pandemic.
