The Supreme Court on Sunday issued a temporary halt to contempt charges brought against a mysterious foreign company. The company was having a fight over a mysterious grand jury subpoena related to the Mueller probe. On Saturday, the foreign company filed a formal application with the Supreme Court asking them to review the case, the Washington Times reported. An Appellate Court previously ruled that the company must comply with the subpoena or they'd be held in contempt. For every week that they were held in contempt they would have to pay $5,000. According to legal expert Steve Vladeck, this might...

First, there were those infamous hacked e-mails from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia. Now, a mere seven days before the Copenhagen Conference on climate change, this breaking news story takes the breath away. The whole ‘global warming’ shambles is falling apart. Today, The Copenhagen Post declares: “Denmark Rife With CO2 Fraud”: “Denmark is the centre of a comprehensive tax scam involving CO2 quotas, in which the cheats exploit a so-called ‘VAT carrousel’, reports Ekstra Bladet newspaper. Police and authorities in several European countries are investigating scams worth billions of kroner, which all originate in...

After the not-so-subtile attack on birthers over the last week by the Obama lapdog media and MoveOn crowd, it is clear that the battle lines are drawn. The original birth certificate is THE wobbling cornerstone in a feeble house of cards. Anyone who has ever been deceived knows that when the accused is confronted with the truth, the screaming gets louder, the accused attempts to become the accuser, a the facts are obfuscated in any way possible. In short, the accused tries to take control of the argument. We're faced with a President who is doing the irrational...spending hundreds of...

A statewide recount of the presidential vote appears inevitable after a pair of third-party candidates said they have collected enough money to pay for it. The recount would be conducted after the election results are certified in early December. Libertarian Michael Badnarik and the Green Party's David Cobb said on Monday they raised more than $150,000 in four days, mostly in small contributions. Ohio law requires payment of $10 per precinct for a recount, or $113,600 statewide. Badnarik and Cobb said they aren't trying to overturn President Bush's 136,000-vote victory in Ohio, but just want to ensure that all votes...

Danish pastor Thorkild Grosboel of Taarbaek, near Copenhagen, was suspended today by his bishop after stating in a recent interview "there is...
