As someone who has never voted Republican, I am deeply troubled by the New York Democratic Party. I strongly oppose its environmental policies, including its anti-nuclear stance; its agenda making it harder for the police and prosecutors to do their jobs, including by passing excessive bail reform; and its resistance to any educational reforms that the teachers’ union oppose, including charter school expansion.
