The most egregious aspect of the Ground Zero mosque controversy is something that people don't think or talk about: the incalculable theft involved in this second wave of the 9/11 attacks. These Islamic supremacists are grifting the system big time. And yet the biggest theft of all is one that everyone has overlooked. The biggest theft of all is that they have stolen Ground Zero itself from America like thieves in the night. They have ripped it from our collective soul and national psyche. Now, whenever anyone mentions Ground Zero, it has nothing to do with the largest attack ever...

President Barack Hussein Obama, in a determination letter to Congress, has announced that he will allow an additional 80,000 immigrants – - mostly from Islamic countries – - to resettle in the United States during fiscal year 2011. Mr. Obama says that the increase in Muslim immigrants “is justified by humanitarian concerns or is otherwise in the national interest.”

FORT HOOD, Texas — A pregnant soldier shot during a rampage at a Texas Army post last year cried out, "My baby! My baby!" as others crawled under desks, dodged bullets that pierced walls and rushed to help their bleeding comrades, a military court heard Monday. A soldier had just told Spc. Jonathan Sims that she was expecting a baby and was preparing to go home, when the first volley of gunfire rang out Nov. 5 in a Fort Hood building where soldiers get medical tests before and after deploying.

A soldier says he shot cell phone video during last year's Fort Hood deadly rampage but that an officer ordered him to delete the footage. Under cross examination Friday, Pfc. Lance Aviles has told a military court that he deleted the two videos at the direction of his NCO on the same day as the shooting, Nov. 5. Friday is the third full day of testimony at the Article 32 hearing to decide if Maj. Nidal Hasan, the 40-year-old American-born Muslim charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder at Fort Hood, should stand...

Khalid Latif, a chaplain for New York University, here complains that moderate and peaceful understandings of Islam are being unfairly discounted: "As much as Muslims need to acknowledge the existence of a minority voice that is radicalized, so too does a broader society need to acknowledge the existence of a majority voice that is not radicalized and more importantly condemns radical thought." That's just great, and I am happy to accommodate him in this. It is also worth noting, however, that a few years ago, when NYU students planned to display the Danish cartoons of Muhammad at a campus event,...

QUESTION: If Muslims don’t have to buy into Obamacare because “it offends their religion”, then why doesn’t someone start a new “religion” that ALSO prohibits buying into Obamacare? This just occurred to me today, when reading something over at Hot Air about the Michigan judge who ruled Obamacare was perfectly constitutional today (don’t worry…it’s not…and it will be struck down in the Supreme Court on a 5-4 vote in 2011). What does it take to start a legitimate, state-recognized, actual religion in this country? Because I’ve read repeatedly that the Amish and Muslims don’t have to buy into Obamacare, don’t...

The newly unveiled "official" architectural renderings of the Ground Zero Mosque, now being rebranded and sanitized as the "Park 51 Community Center" reveal a disturbing, insidious message. (Big hat tip: Pamela Geller, Atlas Shrugs) Look closely at the pattern of the facade. It is quite easy to discern the Star of David (two triangles with points up and down), the pre-eminent symbol of Judaism here: and here: But the entire facade shows these shapes dissolving, as if shattered and falling down. Kind of like a window shattered by rocks and fragmenting into pieces. New York City has the largest Jewish...

“What are they so afraid of?” Buffeted by a series of attacks by White House spokesmen and left-leaning media, conservative publisher Regnery (sister company to HE.com) has decided to come out swinging. Long slated for an October release, Regnery moved up the release date for bestselling author Dinesh D’Souza’s controversial new book, The Roots of Obama’s Rage, to this coming Monday, September 27. The new date will be just in time to respond to the front-page hit piece rumored to be coming in (where else?) the New York Times this weekend. The White House has been “generous” with its attention...

Extremists in the city and the countryside are spreading hate against America and the West. The state of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia in particular), the home of the Liberty Bell, is attracting Islamists peddling a softer, slicker form of jihad. These Islamists are careful not to raise alarm lest they jeopardize their long-term goals. It’s not clear what is attracting the groups, but staying true to the Keystone State nickname, Pennsylvania is becoming a common congregating point for Islamists. An article I recently wrote, “Muslim Enclaves U.S.A.,†went viral and brought enormous reaction. One of the stories contained in the piece was about...

Washington state: Muslim inmates suing jail, saying they're prevented from practicing their religion Yet a prosecutor says that "the jail offers Muslims meals without pork and allows them to pray together and perform ritual cleansing." So possibly this is an attempt to gain special status and special privileges for Muslim inmates in this jail. "Muslim inmates suing Pierce County Jail," from AP, September 23 (thanks to Twostellas): TACOMA, Wash. -- Two Muslim inmates from the Pierce County Jail in Tacoma are suing, claiming they are banned from practicing their religion. The lawsuit was filed this week with the help of...

Spaniards: BRILLIANT! PEOPLE IN MICHIGAN and NEW YORK NEED TO TAKE A LESSON FROM THE SPANIARDS! > > In Spain, at Sevilla... Some local people found a way to stop the construction of another mosque in their town. > They buried a pig on the site, making sure this would be known by the local press. > > The Islamic rules forbid the erecting of a Mosque on "pig soiled ground". The moslems had to cancel the project...this land was sold to them by government officials. > No protests were needed by the local people...and it worked!

“The bottom line is this – if the Koran is burned, our troops will be in greater danger. It’s that simple…” That remark came from a certain military officer (an officer who will remain unnamed here), during a special press briefing I attended regarding upcoming foreign troop deployments. The news of a threatened “Koran burning ceremony” to be held in Florida was being widely reported at the time, and a journalist had asked the Officer for comment. In response to the Officer’s comment, I followed up by asking “if Americans didn’t exercise their Second Amendment rights, would the troops be...

My organization, Americans for Peace and Tolerance (APT), just released a video showing 6th graders from Wellesley, MA as they rise from prostrating themselves alongside Muslim men in a prayer to Allah while on a public school field trip to the largest mosque in the Northeast. Teachers did not intervene. Parents have not been told. embedded by Embedded Video YouTube Direkt The video was taken inside the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – Boston’s controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque – during a Wellesley Middle School social studies trip to the mosque, ostensibly taken to learn about the history of Islam first-hand....

Nine years after George W. Bush went to a mosque and proclaimed Islam a religion of peace, all too many Muslims worldwide are less peaceful than ever, and the U.S. government is more determined than ever to ignore, deny, minimize, and even accommodate that fact. As we pass the nine-year mark against the “Enemy That Must Not Be Named,” the Obama Administration seems bent on reinforcing for Islamic jihadists everywhere the idea that if they issue threats of violence, we will give them what they want.

THE death of Special Air Service soldier Sergeant Matthew Locke on Thursday in Afghanistan is a terrible reminder that there is rarely such a thing as a war without casualties. Sergeant Locke died fighting a barbaric enemy that seeks not just to take Afghanistan back to the dark ages but to use it as a base from which to destroy us. Worryingly, the death of two Australian soldiers in three weeks is not just a tragic coincidence. Things are not going well in the poorly named war on terror. As Frank Furedi writes in Inquirer today, we have been unable...

What large companies advertise in Newsweek? I think the most effective way to make our opinions of their slanted reporting widely known and to make the feel some pain for being so Anti-American would be to contact those advertisers that enable them by providing them with advertising revenue. A complaint campaign is in order, and those that don't drop their support need to feel the heat of a boycott. I firmly believe that voting with your wallet is one of the most effective ways of dealing with these people and companies.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged Muslims around the world on Thursday to resist calls for violence from people outraged by a report that interrogators at Guantanamo Bay had desecrated the Koran. Interrogators at the U.S. military prison in Cuba reportedly put Korans in toilets and in at least one case flushed the holy book away, triggering violent demonstrations in Afghanistan, where seven people have died in related violence in the past two days. The Pakistani government has also formally protested. "We have heard from our Muslim friends around the world about their concerns on this matter....
