What are they so afraid of?
Buffeted by a series of attacks by White House spokesmen and left-leaning media, conservative publisher Regnery (sister company to HE.com) has decided to come out swinging. Long slated for an October release, Regnery moved up the release date for bestselling author Dinesh DSouzas controversial new book, The Roots of Obamas Rage, to this coming Monday, September 27. The new date will be just in time to respond to the front-page hit piece rumored to be coming in (where else?) the New York Times this weekend.
The White House has been generous with its attention vilifying not only DSouza, but also Forbes (which ran a preview of the book as the cover story in their September 27 issue) and former speaker Newt Gingrich (who praised the Forbes article), all for having the temerity to suggest that President Obamas motivation might not be what he claims. After lambasting both the magazine and the Speaker on national TV, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs then called Forbes's Washington bureau chief Brian Wingfield into the White House to read him the riot act.
The reason the White House is so upset about my argument, says DSouza, is because it finally offers an explanation of what President Obama is doing that makes sense of both his foreign and his domestic policy. Unlike those who describe Obamas worldview as pro-socialist or racially-motivated, much less those who claim Obama is a secret Muslim or born outside the U.S., my thesis is far more straightforward and much more frightening.
Anyone who says this thesis is not backed up by research simply hasnt bothered to read my book, continues DSouza. My thesis is completely substantiated, often drawing from Obamas own words and writings, and those of his virulently anti-colonialist father.
Adds Regnery Publisher Marji Ross, Frankly, virtually no one has had a chance to read Dineshs book yet, since its literally days off the press, so why attack something you havent even read? I have to wonder what they are so afraid of.
After the desperate attacks in the past two weeks, we expect the MSM and the White House to be foaming at the mouth when The Roots of Obamas Rage hits the stores and DSouza takes to the airwaves Monday to actually defend the book. Stay tuned...
The Roots of Obamas Rage will be available at bookstores nationwide on Monday, September 27. It is available for pre-order at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com

If they are screaming, keep on twisting. Eventually they will break.
Who is the racist New York Times doing its “hit piece” on? Dinesh DSouza?
I have to go to the shopping mall on Tuesday. I wll make certain to stop at the bookstore!
The article was extremely accurate and hit to close to home. That’s why the White House responded to it so negatively — it NAILED Zero.
All the critical slanderous books, and movies, about President Bush, not to mention network news lies and collusion wirh the rats, and Hussein takes rime from his perpetual vacation only long enough to devote his time and energy to responding to anything that deviates from the official line of total devotion, even with a worshipful media ever-ready to carry his water for him. You’d think he needn’t bother, but that’s how narcissistic he is.
this is as much an indictment on the MSM as it is on the kenyan.
I think they are striking a major nerve...HEHEHEHEHEHEHE
Gentlemen, welcome to Beck’s world.
If you think that they’re worried now, wait until Hillary unloads on Obama just before primary season.
I read an excerpt here on FR, and it’s pretty reasonable sounding. Funny, they didn’t mind when those two journalists wrote a book about Dubya claiming he was just avenging Daddy. In fact, many books were written about Dubya, most of them virulent. I think it goes with the territory, but Obama routinely seems surprised to encounter criticism, mockery, or disagreement from any direction.
When is the movie coming out? Will it be a tv mini-series?
Me thinks they doth protest too much....
Has to be hitting too close to home....
I will be there to get that book..We should all buy a copy and loan it out after we read it..If you have the money buy your friends that love this scum bag a copy.. Like it won’t matter he could poo in their mouth and they would not care..
Make it a best seller in the first week..
If they’re that upset it is probably all true and the side benefit is that their squealing in the press helps promote interest in the book.
Good....gives people more time before the election to take all this in...
Flout the Bummer with the D’Souzaphone!
To be fair, I’d have to see the book to understand exactly how Dinesh sees Obama, Jr.’s transposition of his father’s “anti-colonialism” into the milieu of modern America. It can’t carry over literally, but maybe the Bummer is tilting at a windmill of the old colonializing powers as he fancies them to exist now. This would also imply that Bummer is as insane as a man who claims he is Napoleon.
The Chicago Machine was supposed to keep this from happening. Except, whoops, it didn’t.
