Beloved fellow FReepers, it has come to my attention that I have great need of a pause from reading and commenting on the news of the day, and to engage heavily in the reading and study of Jesus' Word, His guidance and assurance of peace, and prayer and just talking to my Awesome Savior and Lord. I love each and every one of you, and it is my highest hope that you all also take a break from the mental stress that this present evil world's constant attacks on mind and body represent because of Satan and his demonic forces....

My father passed away Tuesday night at 88. He was a great dad, great grandfather, USAF veteran, old school peace officer, faithful servant of our Lord, and many, many other things. He kept his body as healthy as a horse jogging on his treadmill and lifting weights up until about two or three years ago when his mind started to falter. He was the last survivor of 10 siblings, so quite literally, the end of a generation. Please keep our family in your prayers.
