Legacy media is reporting the FBI has allegedly located an individual of interest in over 100 swatting calls, including calls targeted at Alejandro Mayorkas, Director of the Cybersecurity, Infrastructure and Security Agency Jen Easterly, and other Biden administration officials. It is believed that the person of interest lives in Serbia. They have not yet been charged, but sources say charges will be brought soon. According to news reports, the suspect is alleged to have made the calls targeting officials over the Christmas holidays.

Grand Rapids police are investigating recent swatting incidents in which 911 callers falsely report a serious crime at a specific place. The incidents happened at Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown and a restaurant, police said. Maurice Cruz made his first alleged prank call to 9-1-1 last August 27 at approximately 4:46 p.m.. He placed the last of more than 18,000 calls this morning at about 2:35 — and then he was arrested, the California Highway Patrol says. From the CHP release: Mr. Cruz illegally harassed and annoyed the Los Angeles Communications center by calling the 911 emergency lines over 18,000 times. CAMBRIDGE, Minn. (AP) — A 21-year-old woman faces felony charges after allegedly prank-calling her 69-year-old grandmother 45 times in one day, threatening to kill her. The woman faces five felony counts including harassment. A criminal complaint said she told police she was "bored" and "wanted to have some fun." The woman and a 20-year-old friend, also facing charges, allegedly called the older woman on Feb. 5 and said "I'm gonna kill you," "You're going to die" and "I'm watching you."
