Most voters don’t trust political polls and tend to think pollsters are out to stop President Trump’s agenda. Just 26% of Likely U.S. Voters say they trust most political polls. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 55% do not trust most political polls. Nineteen percent (19%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.) The New York Times features reporter reprimanded by his editors for referring to first lady Melania Trump as a "hooker," took to Twitter Tuesday to out himself, take responsibility for his mistake and apologize for his "stupid" remark. "I want to take ownership of a mistake I made," Jacob Bernstein said in the first of four tweets. First Lady Melania Trump prevailed Friday in the first round of a $150 million libel suit she filed against a Maryland blogger over a report he published last summer about claims that Trump worked as a "high-end escort." Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Sharon Burrell rejected arguments from lawyers for blogger Webster Tarpley to dismiss Trump's suit for failing to meet the "actual malice" standard for public figures.
