We are looking at an “Escape from New York” scenario about five years after his election. But it will be a Muslim prison, the absolute worst. Sadly, they are reaping what they have sown.
NYS is a beautiful state with great natural resources and a phenomenal agriculture. NYS could feed itself on what it grows every year.
The government has totally destroyed any reason for ever wanting to stay in the state. It was THE main reason we moved out. The lake effect snow didn’t help any but we could have moved closer to PA to avoid that. But then you get the nor’easters. Just like here in NH. :(
If I never saw snow again, I could die happy.
Anyways, a great state ruined by a corrupt, immoral, evil government.
Yasser Arafat shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994.
His group took over the cruise ship Achille Lauro and threw the elderly Mr. Leon Klinghoffer over the side to kill him and then tossed his wheelchair after him.
There are key, irreplaceable people in politics in each era.
Lots of the Mondale, Dukakis, Dole, Romney types. House Speaker Hastert and then Boehner. So what?
But the JFK, RFK and Reagan ones are special. In music, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra and Elvis were that way. No “who is the next...?” of them. Irreplaceable.
Will people EVER stop to realize that *free* stuff from the government is never truly free?
That the govenment gets it’s money from taxes and that you pay for it one way or another.
Either you pay for yourself, or the government extorts the mony out of you under threat of jail time, and then gives you a pittance of what it stole from you back acting as the benevolent caretaker.
Many moons ago, after El Rush-Bo had left New York for Florida, a New York Mayor or Governor stated something very close to: “If I had known that raising taxes would make Limbaugh leave, I would have done it a long time ago.”
A decade or two later, another New York democRAT actually told the truth. When so many other millionaires fled New York, the democRAT said: “If we chase more millionaires out of New York, who will pay the taxes?”
Dan Bongino used to explain how Rudy Giuliani lost his first run for Mayor. “It just wasn’t bad enough yet.”. Four years later, Giuliani won.
If Madmandani actually becomes Mayor, they will have to construct walls to keep the people from leaving.
Well, he wants to raise personal income tax by 2%. So the headline is a little misleading, but some of the richer folks are already paying close to 50% on their income in taxes.
The funnier part is that the guy who want to defund the police, decriminalize many offense and make prison optional is also promising an increase in public safety. Yeah, sure, right.
