I viewed her father's entire testimony to the House Committee hearing it.
I was quite impressed.
I also noted that NO ONE (including House Members) tried to shut him up or moderate his tone or words, which were devastatingly critical to some Leftist Liberal politicians.
Apparently, everyone in that House Committee hearing room knew the score and knew when to shut up.
I also noticed there was no rioting, looting and arson after he spoke.
Epstein ALWAYS asked young females if they were 18 years old or older. If they said NO, he would not engage with them.
In addition, Epstein ALWAYS paid well for his sexual massage.
Adjusted for inflation, each girl always got $400-$450, each time, which was more than a grown woman earned at a massage parlor.
Epstein was clearly an expert on Florida law.
In 2008, he was charged with one count of soliciting prostitution with a minor.
Epstein, as far as I know, was never charged with rape.
The reason that he was not charged with multiple prostitution crimes is because EACH young woman would have been required to appear in court, admit she lied about her age, and admit she accepted above average pay for sex.
Instead, Epstein offered substantial cash settlements if they did NOT testify.
After seeing photos of kids dismantling computers in China with the burning circuit boards and wire (to get to the metal) and the colored runoff water in the ditch; I quit recycling that stuff. Smash it up and throw it in the trash can.
Gets hauled off to a triple-lined landfill 50 miles away where it will be monitored for the next 100 years.
I share the skepticism about details of Mormon theology but I think the overall idea that God considers North America to be a promised land for Christians is a good idea (not saying that is unique to LDS). I also find the cultural influence to be more positive than negative but that’s from the outside and I can see how women in particular would find that difficult to accept. It’s a very patriarchal society even now, let alone how the breakaway sects function reflecting what it was like before statehood.

"Everyone responsible for keeping this man on the streets should be thrown in prison."
I agree. All those years that should have been served by that POS should be collectively served by those who time and time again put him right back out on the street...
When the criminal justice system becomes a Persian bazaar of plea bargains, this happens. Innocent people plead guilty or nolo contendere to crimes they didn't commit so lawyers can handle more cases. Contemporaneously, guilty people get off light and get away committing truly bad deeds. The truly guilty continue to test the limits by doing even worse things than before. Truly bad people need to get put away until they are old and less capable of violence.
