After the Walter Reed Checkup, Sorry, Dems: President Trump Is in Great Health
Red State ^ | 10/11/2025 | Ward Clark

Posted on 10/11/2025 6:28:35 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

Americans have worried about the health of presidents, well, since there have been Americans and American presidents. We expect the chief executive, the commander-in-chief of our armed forces, the head of state, the face our nation turns to the world, to be in good physical and mental shape. That's a valid concern; the president is usually an older man, and it's valid to be concerned for his health.

Now the White House has released the results of President Trump's follow-up evaluation at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and the news is good: President Donald Trump is in great shape.

The memo here was written by the Physician to the President, Sean P. Barbabella, D.O., following the president's evaluation. Some key excerpts:

Comprehensive laboratory studies performed in conjunction were exceptional, including stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.

In preparation for upcoming international travel, President Trump also received preventive health screenings and immunizations, including annual influenza and updated COVID-19 booster vaccinations.

For a man the age of the president (79), that's a good report; cardiac problems in particular are a routine concern for men the president's age.

Dr. Barbabella concludes:

President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health. His cardiac age - a validated measure of cardiovascular vitality via ECG - was found to be approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age. He continues to maintain a demanding daily schedule without restriction.

Summary: President Donald J. Trump remains in exceptional health, exhibiting strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.

Granted, physicians' reports about the president are frequently couched in glowing terms. And, we might also note, the entire coterie surrounding President Trump's immediate predecessor routinely sang the praises of "Autopen Joe" Biden's health, stamina, and mental acuity, despite all evidence to the contrary, and there was a lot of evidence to the contrary.

Even so, President Trump's own energy, his work schedule, his drive, would seem to support the reports of his physicians. Some of us are well enough along in years now to remember quite a few presidencies, and many of those presidents were younger than President Trump, and none have done so much so fast as the 47th president - not even the 45th president.

It probably doesn't hurt that President Trump has eschewed alcohol and tobacco throughout his life (a claim that this writer certainly can't make).

President Trump has more than three years left in his second, non-consecutive term. When he leaves office, he will be 82 years of age; the same age Autopen Joe was when he wandered aimlessly out of the White House for the last time. There's a big difference between the two men, though, and if President Trump maintains his current state of health, he should be able to see a successful end to his second term, and with any luck, in January of 2029, he will hand the reins over to a younger Republican president - say, JD Vance.

Well, what to say? Trump was responsible for operation warp speed.

I am confused by it in that he already HAD Covid...and had a relatively serious bout with it at that.

So I don’t know if that is considered “immunity” at this point, or if high risk seniors are supposed to get vaccinated.

Better safe than sorry!

I believe one of his weaknesses is in the diet arena...He likes red meat (cooked well done) and McDonald’s fries with lots of salt...

SO...Just needs some balance and discipline there!

It’s great that he golfs!

You are believing too much of what you read on line. Trump was responsible for the Covid shot. Or don’t you remember that?

Do you remember when he shut everything down for two weeks that March?

Trump is very pro vax.

He did not mandate them. And that was good.

Don’t conflate the two issues.

Ditto!
Yikes!
What is he thinking?
I lost a perfectly healthy 37-year-old grandson to a booster shot...

Being that old he is particularly vulnerable to Covid, whatever its current mutation, and much like influenza, any immunity from a prior infection just doesn’t last long.

I am curious that this is a 6 month follow-up, not an annual.

Democrat ghouls are crying...

That said, it’s wonderful news for all of us that Trump’s in great shape.

The day after the 2016 Presidential Election, President Elect Trump did what he has done for decades. He went to work.

It is said he doesn't need as much sleep as others. He loves to work.

I just remembered his 2005 testimony about how he would renovate the United Nations building. He spoke at length, with no notes, no teleprompter.

I found the link to that testimony.

Enjoy

It’s like the flu. No two putbreaks are alike. I’ve had Covid twice and my daughterc3 times. There is no or very little immunity.

Odd then that I haven't had the flu for 42 years or a cold for over 52 years. No flu shots ever.

Pres Trump’s doc is a D.O.-I think that is great-they don’t seem as into prescribing drugs for everything as M.D.s-they are more into holistic medicine/health. I will only go to a D.O. if I need a doc. Pres Trump is probably one of those lucky individuals who can get all the vaxxes, etc he wants with no bad effects. MrT5 was like that-he was vaxxed for probably a million things in the military over his nearly 30 years service...

The vaxx is a personal choice, just like a flu shot-I work with 2 guys who get both and it worries me-but it’s their body-not mine. I don’t get either one-I have had dangerous reactions to vaxxes since childhood-a flu shot will send me into anaphylactic shock-as well as most drugs-so I avoid them all and rely on supplements, vitamins and natural remedies. I also eat a paleo-type diet-all organic-no processed food, no refined sugar, very low carb. I’ve never been overweight-weigh the same as I did at 17. That is my personal choice, same as we all have...

Maybe pres Trump should try a paleo-type diet-cut those carbs-not so many burgers and french fries-more steak, fish and veggies. But I doubt that he is into the organic, non GMO food thing...

Got it, regarding the strains, so it may need to be required annually. Hope your family stays healthy too!

Likewise-no vaxxes, no flu shots-I had only a mild case of the wuflu in 2020-1st time I’d had anything in 20 years-knocked it out in a couple days with a homeopathic remedy. I did have a really bad case of the Hong Kong flu in 1970, along with most of the other students attending that university-I think maybe it supercharged my immune system some way...

I also had an insanely intense case of the Hong Kong flu in 1970. I thought that perhaps there was no vax for that since my father was a family doc and I knew I didn’t get a flu shot then. Looked it up a couple of years ago and it turns out there was a shot in ‘70 for the HK flu. I continued to have fairly mild bouts of the flu, twice a year, until I was 27. Nothing since then.

I did finally get the Coof about a month ago. Three days of active symptoms but nothing overly terrible. The after effects suck though. Persistent morning cough, which is thankfully productive, producing clear phlegm. I also have constant low-level tinnitus now. I really hope that goes away. I also seem to have some joint pain I didn’t have before but it’s not terrible, just different than before.

Still wouldn’t get the C-vax or flu vax.

Covid in 2024 remains in the top 15 causes of death in the US, with a death count of 47K last year. (this is down a factor of 10 since the pandemic years)

We can rest assured 80+% of those 47K deaths were 60+.

So about the average number of deaths per year as the seasonal flu which has reached as high as 80k in the past.

I would also note that your reply doesn’t address in any way what I posted. I was commenting on the statement you made about immunity being a short-lived thing.
