Idomo Furniture says the city is to blame for $1 million in damage to its Downsview area store after the building was flooded with sewage following Sunday's papal mass. Gerrit de Boer, president of Idomo Furniture International, found most of the 24,000-square-metre basement of his Sheppard Ave. store coated in feces, urine and other sewage early yesterday morning. "I came to the warehouse and (excrement) was everywhere. The smell was horrible," de Boer said. "I have the sewage of 800,000 pilgrims in my store."
