This would be the first time since 1986 — and only the second time since 1934 — that the opposition party has had a net loss of governor’s seats. Only once in the past 100 years has the opposition party lost both Senate seats and governor’s mansions: 1934. Republicans could feasibly do that. The opposition party has gained state legislative chambers in every midterm election held since 2002, flipping an average of more than 12 chambers. Republicans have currently lost at least three chambers — both chambers in Michigan, and the Minnesota state Senate — and appear as though they’ll...

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Sean Patrick Maloney had some harsh words for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., for her apparent lack of participation in what he called a "historic defense" of their New York majority. Mahoney spoke to several media outlets about the aftermath of his loss in the race for New York’s 17th Congressional District. Along with Maloney failing to secure a previously Democratic stronghold, Republicans won at least six additional seats in the midterm elections, with several races still too close to call. Although Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-N.Y., managed to win, her close race was considered a disappointment...

One of the great benefits of winning landslide elections is that you end up building up your own bench of viable candidates while diminishing the other side’s. In this respect, the Republican sweeps of 2010 and 2014 were terrific for the GOP and devastating for the Democrats. Why is Joe Biden president, rather than a younger, Obama-esque star? Why, even now, would it be tough for the Democrats to find a replacement for Biden, even if they wanted to? In part because, in 2010, 2014, and, to a lesser extent, 2016, the Republicans did so well. And they’re wasting it.

But in the meantime, enjoy the political theatrics down on the sand-strewn floor of the Coliseum. While the much-touted differences between America's political parties get obsessive, hysterical attention, the sameness of Imperial corruption, waste and squalor regardless of who's in power gets little notice. Scrape away the differences--mostly in domestic issues--and we see the dead hand of Imperial Corruption is on the tiller. The core of Imperial Corruption is the disconnect between the nation's ideals of representational democracy and open markets and the sordid reality: elites serve their interests by corrupting both democracy and open markets. Unfettered democracy and markets...

In the previous GOP waves, moderate Republican gubernatorial candidates were able to flip several deep-blue states, including Larry Hogan in Maryland and Charlie Baker in Massachusetts in 2014. Both governors managed the task of governing in a blue state well enough to coast to reelection in 2018. But Hogan was term-limited this year, and Baker, facing the likelihood of a tough challenge from a Trump-backed candidate in the state GOP primary, declined to run again. Trump supporters won both state Republican primaries, including a victory in Maryland by state delegate Dan Cox, who was aided by millions of dollars in...

The Republican Party flipped seats in Arizona and Iowa and won an open district in Michigan. Eli Crane Wins AZ-02 - Republican Eli Crane ousted Democrat incumbent Rep. Tom O’Halleran in Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District. Officials considered O’Halleran “the most endangered incumbent in the House Democratic caucus.” Crane, a former Navy SEAL, received President Donald Trump’s endorsement. He concentrated on the economy, border security, and no Critical Race Theory. O’Halleran represents the First District but chose to run for the newly redrawn Second District even though it favors Republicans.

My guess is that they are utilizing EBU (Eligible But Unregistered) voters, and systematiucally producing more Democrat votes. With Florida being stricter with election laws, they weren't able to do that there. In reality there was a red wave like what we saw in Florida. There are leftist groups like ERIC (Electronic Registration Information Center) that utilize these EBU. My theory is there is irregularity in the number of mail-in ballots.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) ‘correct’ data they don’t like, and ‘fail to archive the evidence’ — they are frauds in the eyes of many. Former top NOAA scientist, Dr. John Bates, led the agency’s climate data records program for ten years. Since his time at the agency, however, Bates has spoken of data tampering and serious malfeasance; specifically, he accuses NOAA of publishing a flawed report which supposedly disproved the pause observed in global warming between 1998 to 2012. Bates charges that study’s lead author, NOAA official Tom Karl, with using unverified data sets, ignoring mandatory agency...

While the Democrat bench is deep, Chicago’s Lori Lightfoot might be the worst mayor in America; particularly since former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio left office. So how bad is Lightfoot? Even Democrat lawmakers are calling out Lightfoot as Chicago’s murder rate continues to skyrocket. But here’s the clincher that puts Lightfoot in a league of her own: As the violent streets of Chicago’s Southside continue to run red with blood, the embattled mayor has proposed a city ordinance to give herself a hefty raise. No, really. Did I mention that Lightfoot’s current annual salary is $216,210? As reported...

An AP investigation in March found that Russia’s baseless claims about secret American biological warfare labs in Ukraine were taking root online including in the United States, uniting COVID-19 conspiracy theorists, QAnon adherents and some supporters of ex-President Donald Trump — despite rebuttals from independent scientists, Ukrainian leaders and officials at the White House and Pentagon.Ukraine does have a network of biological labs that have gotten funding and research support from the U.S. But they are owned and operated by Ukraine and are part of an initiative called the Biological Threat Reduction Program that aims to reduce the likelihood of...

Is Report of U.S. Military Weaknesses Silly and Dangerous or Spot-On and Alarming?: According to Politico, an anonymous defense official claims Pentagon leaders are “none too pleased” that The Heritage Foundation’s latest Index of U.S. Military Strength has characterized American hard power as “weak.” The unnamed source also said that Heritage’s scoring is “silly and dangerous,” in part because it is “based on the outdated requirement that the military be able to fight two wars simultaneously,” a metric changed by the Obama administration and maintained by both the Trump and Biden teams.

by Becca London | RNNWait...so THEY are allowed to say it? I thought this was called "election denial," "sedition," or "insurrection!!!"Democrats must really be desperate for Hillary Clinton to come out with this.Hillary published a video on Monday where she accuses “rightwing extremists” of “already having a plan to literally steal the next presidential election.”Funny...I don't think the FBI is going to raid her house tomorrow.Democrats must really be worried that they won’t be able to steal the presidential election in 202

Just as Donald Trump stripped the veneer off the pathological lying mainstream media from a businessman’s perspective, GOP Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is destroying the MSM propagandists who have peppered her with ‘gotcha’ questions since she announced her candidacy for the office. Lake, who worked in the media for 30 years, knows all the tricks and traps practiced by the modern version of the fourth estate

President Trump said he would find it “very disloyal” if former Vice President Mike Pence or other members of his former Cabinet sought the GOP presidential nomination in 2024, seeking to send a warning to a number of figures weighing potential White House bids. “Many of them have said they would never run if I run, so we’ll see if that turns out to be true,” Trump said Friday during a brief phone interview with Fox News Radio host Brian Kilmeade. “I think it would be very disloyal if they did, but that’s OK, too.” Trump boasted that “the polls...

Trump’s Testimony Could Cripple the January 6 Committee: Following what could be the conclusion of “investigations” ahead of the midterms, the January 6 Committee voted on Thursday to subpoena former President Donald Trump. It is the culmination of 15 months of work by House Democrats to paint a picture of Republican-backed political violence and an attempted “coup” orchestrated by the former president. While some may have been shocked by the revelation that Trump is now expected to be quizzed by the committee over their wild accusations, the truth is that this was always going to happen. Not only that, but...

Twitter lit up with support for Jennifer-Ruth Green, the GOP midterm candidate running to unseat Democrat Rep. Frank Mrvan, D-Ind in Indiana's First Congressional District, after Politico outed her as a victim of sexual assault. Adam Wren, a correspondent for Politico, wrote a wide-ranging profile of Green last week that included revelations obtained from Green's military records that she was a victim of a sexual assault while serving in Iraq as a member of the U.S. Air Force. Despite several pleas from Green not to publish the previously undisclosed details of the assault, Politico moved forward with publication. *** According...
