In the previous GOP waves, moderate Republican gubernatorial candidates were able to flip several deep-blue states, including Larry Hogan in Maryland and Charlie Baker in Massachusetts in 2014. Both governors managed the task of governing in a blue state well enough to coast to reelection in 2018. But Hogan was term-limited this year, and Baker, facing the likelihood of a tough challenge from a Trump-backed candidate in the state GOP primary, declined to run again. Trump supporters won both state Republican primaries, including a victory in Maryland by state delegate Dan Cox, who was aided by millions of dollars in ads run by the Democratic Party, which preferred him as an opponent over former state secretary of commerce Kelly Schulz, endorsed by Hogan. The cynical strategy paid dividends. Cox managed less than four in ten votes in Maryland, a sharp turnaround from the 55 percent of votes Hogan won in 2018. Trump’s favored Massachusetts candidate, state delegate Geoff Diehl, fared worse, managing just 35 percent of the vote against Democrat Maura Healey. Baker, by contrast, won reelection in 2018 with 66 percent of the vote. As the Boston Globe observed, Healey likely wouldn’t even have run if she had to face the popular Baker in a general election.

But are there allegations of it? I hadn’t heard any...Zeldin hasn’t mentioned it, that I am aware.
My impressions of both Baker and Hogan were that they governed as Democrats for the most part anyway. Many conservative voters that may have once lived in the northeast went to places like Texas, Florida, the Carolinas, and such other places and ones like Desantis, Kemp, and others were the beneficiary of their votes. The remaining blue voters in the blue states are just simply going to continue to live and vote
for lifestyles and policies that well above their means and that will continue to result in divisive and self contradictory results.

RHINOs did the same thing to the Tea Part candidate in Md years ago. Hogan actively sabotaged the MAGA candidate. PA, NH, MA and MD Republicans would rather lose elections than give up control of candidate selection. Not complicated.

This is a massive deflection from the Democrat-imposed corruption in the election process where it takes days or weeks to even know who actually won and, even then, NOT THROUGH A FAIR PROCESS.
Kari Lake must do in Arizona what Ron Desantis has done. Elections must be restored to a same-day, in-person vote with ID and NO BALLOT HARVESTING
The entire world has the tried and true, in-person process in which results are known the night of the election.
The most backwater countries on Earth can successfully pull that off but America cannot because of widespread political corruption. Many of the poorer countries have widespread illiteracy and lack modern systems but they can vote and learn the results the same night of the election.
Trump gave us Peace and Prosperity, while DeSantis supports war in Ukraine. No thanks.
Trump needs to wake up to the fact that waiting around for two years is not the formula to save the Country. With rigged elections now firmly in place, he just might lose in 2024. He needs to announce (Nov. 15) right now for Speaker of the House and start impeaching the Communists ASAP. McCarthy is a loser.

Florida figured it out, and banned mass-mail ballots and ballot harvesting, and guess what? THE REPUBLICANS WON ACROSS THE STATE.
If AZ, Nv, AK GA all count out Republican in the next hours, days or months, is Trump suddenly a king maker again? When bated breath is held for too long, it’s just bad breath.
