Three Georgia Tech students were robbed at gunpoint early Friday on a street just off campus, police said. The students were on Hemphill Avenue between 10th and 14th streets about 12:15 a.m. when they were robbed, according to a crime alert sent out by Georgia Tech police. "The students stated that two males approached them on foot and pointed a handgun at them," the alert states. "The males demanded the students' belongings before fleeing the area in a black vehicle."
