San Francisco -- Someone swiped a San Francisco Fire Department SUV overnight while its driver was busy with a paramedic call and took it for a short joyride before crashing it into several parked vehicles and fleeing, authorities said. Paramedics were answering a call on the 600 block of Grove Street shortly before 1 a.m. when a fire department supervisor inadvertently left one of the doors to his SUV unlocked, said fire department spokesman Pete Howes.
