Focus groups for the new $20 bill reported spotting nude women and mistaking the Vimy Ridge memorial for the twin towers of the World Trade Center. The tests, conducted before the bill’s release in order to catch unintended images, were conducted by market research firm the Strategic Council Focus and obtained by CTV News through an access to information request. Concerns about the appearance of the aging Queen Elizabeth II were blacked out by the Bank of Canada.
