Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed SB-94, a special bill pushed through the legislature by Planned Parenthood to increase Medi-Cal rates for “family planning services,” the governor’s press office announced early this afternoon. The governor’s decision to sign the measure came just a day before the legal deadline for signing or vetoing bills on his desk.
