CNSNews.com) - A pro-life group says Planned Parenthood's latest annual report reveals the "hypocritical nature" of the organization. "Planned Parenthood claims it seeks to reduce abortion, but its abortion numbers are skyrocketing," said Jim Sedlak, executive director of the American Life League's STOPP International project. According to Sedlak, Planned Parenthood has performed over 3 million abortions in its own facilities since 1970 - and that includes 227,385 abortions performed in 2002-2003, a 6.7 percent increase over the 213,026 performed in 2001-2002, he said. She blames the death of Holly Peterson on the abortion pill RU-486, when Peterson's death could be attributed to a misdiagnosis, or the poor treatment she received at the hospital. Malkin seems to want to go back to the days when abortions were illegal and women hurt themselves having abortions, which ended up causing much more damage than RU-486 ever has.
