Arabs vandalized cars of Jews praying at the Western Wall (Kotel) Monday night, the eve of the Tisha B’Av fast day. Thousands of worshippers crowded the Western Wall plaza to hear the Book of Lamentations (Eicha) following the evening prayers. When they returned to their cars, dozens of the worshippers discovered slashed tires and damage to the bodies of their vehicles. Several journalists covering the prayers also were victims of the vandalism.
