Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced the appointment of Peter Siggins as a justice in the First District Court of Appeal, Division Three. Siggins, 50, of Sacramento, served as legal affairs secretary to Governor Schwarzenegger from November 2003 to November 2005. From September to November 2005, he served as the Governor's interim chief of staff. Arnold Schwarzenegger's redistricting measure announced plans Tuesday to form an independent, nonpartisan campaign supporting Proposition 77 - largely over fears the measure will fail if tied directly to Schwarzenegger's other Republican-backed ballot initiatives.
