After a day of perusing and judging it was announced that a 1938 Mercedes Benz 540k took home the "Best of Show" trophy. A shark attacked a spear fisherman Friday afternoon in Stillwater Cove near The Lodge at Pebble Beach. It happened approximately 1:45 pm . One witness tells us that the victim suffered a significant bite to his right leg, but he is in stable condition at Natividad Hospital's trauma center in Salinas. MONTEREY - The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed Friday that the FBI did contact the control tower at Monterey Peninsula Airport on Sunday because it was concerned about a plane towing a banner above the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
