After months of supposed hiding, the Capitol Hill cop who shot unarmed pro-Trump protestor Ashli Babbitt at the Capitol, Lt. Michael Byrd has come out of the woodwork to talk about his shooting, in a softball interview with NBC's Lester Holt. Which is weird stuff, given that for months his identity had been concealed, by investigators, Congress, and other supposed watchdogs, on the grounds that revealing it to angry Trump supporters was too dangerous, and whose investigative conclusions excused him from accountability. Now he's come out -- telling Lester Holt of his great heroics. He doesn't even need to, having...

There are many troubling aspects to the COVID vaccines and the growing mandates for them. Here I'd like to focus on one that is rarely discussed. To begin with, when these unapproved vaccines were first made available to the public on an emergency basis, many people rushed headlong to get one. They were in a near panic. I saw this myself. This was due, to a large extent, to the panic whipped up in the mainstream media. The COVID virus was reported to be deadly. Its death toll (which we now know was highly inflated) was used to induce fear....

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — New Zealand’s government took drastic action Tuesday by putting the entire nation into a strict lockdown for at least three days after finding a single case of coronavirus infection in the community. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern invoked some of the stirring rhetoric she used early in the pandemic by urging the “team of 5 million” — New Zealand’s population — to go hard and early in trying to eliminate the latest outbreak. “We have seen what happens elsewhere if we fail to get on top of it,” Ardern said. “We only get one chance.” She...

COVID RealitiesRumor has it we are headed for another lockdown as libs continue to lie about COVID stats and broadcast more fear-mongering.Why not just put them in camps? https://t.co/ZaSGm1A3cM— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) July 31, 2021The woman who published the tweet below, Debbie Burnett, is running against Rep. Boebert in Colorado. She is histrionic about COVID. She is actually a veterinarian who volunteers at a hospital as a physical therapist. The rolling average of new COVID cases in Aspen (which is Boebert’s district) is five per day. This woman is dangerous. This is a lie. https://t.co/zKmgoR3B1l pic.twitter.com/YUpokyD3Ig— Amy Curtis (@RantyAmyCurtis) July 31,...

For months, bloggers on the fringe of alternative media have been characterizing COVID-19 and its aftermath as a "plandemic" that had been planned out during two pandemic simulations: SPARS in 2017 and Event 201 in 2019. These conferences were supposedly organized to anticipate the policies and resources that would be needed to fight the next pandemic. Believers in the plandemic scenario discussed parallels between these simulations and today's pandemic that ranged from the concrete to the fanciful, but neither proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that COVID-19 had been planned. Then along came testimony from the chair of M-CAM,...

Earlier today Dr. Nancy Messonnier, an official in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), held a conference call with media and pushed a panic narrative around the Coronvirus that ran counter to the Trump administration. What makes the statements by Dr. Messonnier even more interesting is the fact she is the only sister of former DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Dr. Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (link) told reporters on the call: “We are asking the American public to work with us to prepare for the expectation that this could be bad.”...

Gas stations from Florida to Virginia ran dry, and prices at the pump skyrocketed late Tuesday, as the hack attack on the biggest U.S. fuel pipeline extends into the fifth day. On Tuesday evening, 17 states and Washington, DC declared emergency declarations to address fuel shortages. The emergency declaration covers Alabama, Arkansas, D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. The Biden administration projected that the Colonial Pipeline would restart by the weekend and urged drivers not to panic hoard fuel. “We are asking people not to...

Reliable data is at the heart of any government response to the pandemic, without which planning for hospital vacancies, oxygen and medicine becomes difficult, experts say. Government officials say the mismatch in death tallies may be caused by several factors, including over-caution. A senior state health official said the increase in numbers of cremations had been due to bodies being cremated using COVID protocols "even if there is 0.1% probability of the person being positive". "In many cases, patients come to hospital in an extremely critical condition and die before they are tested, and there are instances where patients are...

A Yale medical doctor says of the new patients diagnosed with the coronavirus, more than half have been vaccinated. Dr. Harvey Risch joined War Room to explain the vaccine “bait and switch” of public health officials, which are using a totally different standard for efficacy than they are letting on. “What clinicians are telling me is more than half of the new covid cases that they’re seeing to treat is people who’ve been vaccinated,” Dr. Risch said. “They’ve estimated 60 percent of new patients they’ve been treating have been people who’ve been vaccinated.”

VIDEO AT LINKED ARTICLE President Joe Biden dropped in on the W.S. Jenks & Son hardware store in Washington DC for a brief visit and remarks on Tuesday afternoon. Biden spoke to the store owners about the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), an emergency fund that W.S. Jenks & Son applied for and received in February because it has fewer than 20 employees. The funding allowed employees at high risk for COVID-19 to stay home while still getting paid. Founded in 1866, W.S. Jenks & Son bills itself as “Washington’s oldest and most complete source for tools, hardware, machinery, lawn and...

There are probably multiple reasons why coronavirus cases in the US are down nearly 50% in the US in the last month. Could be seasonal. Could be the vaccine. Could be herd immunity from natural infection. Could be the post-holiday default to endemicity. Could be a change in the cycle threshold of PCR that generates fewer positive cases. Could be data tweaks in light of political changes. Anyone who says he knows for sure which is dominant is pretending to know the unknowable. The New York Times, which obliquely reports the case decline, is still certain that you should still...

A new variant of the coronavirus in Great Britain that researchers say spreads 70 percent more effectively is causing Prime Minister Boris Johnson to shutter many parts of the country for Christmas. The new strain of COVID-19 is no deadlier than the original virus, nor does it appear to make people sicker. But it does spread more easily, and that has spooked the British government into basically canceling Christmas. The researchers believe the vaccine developed by Pfizer will still be effective, but scientists are scrambling to confirm that.CNN:According to Whitty, the new variant is responsible for 60% of infections in London, which...

Big Apple eatery owners — already struggling to cope with a second shutdown of indoor dining amid the coronavirus pandemic — were thrown into a panic Thursday night when the Cuomo administration dropped new rules that barred patrons in outdoor spaces from using their indoor bathrooms. The initial guidance, released publicly by Kapil Longani, counsel to Mayor Bill de Blasio, stated that “customers are not allowed to enter the inside of an SLA-licensed establishment for any reason while the guidance is in effect.”

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. — Hermosa Beach resident and swimmer Ana Fradkin can often be found at an outdoor pool in El Segundo. Swimming gives her peace of mind, so-much-so she makes in into the pool before dawn about five times a week. “I’m a butterflier, and a freestyler. But now I’m a nothing, I’m a survivor who just swims", said Fradkin. Fradkin is doing everything she can to survive today, because in August, she lost her 14-year-old son Scotty to an accidental drug overdose. The tragedy has uprooted her world, along with her husband and younger daughter Juliet. Fradkin says...
