LAS VEGAS — The Democratic National Committee is reeling, facing a turnaround that's proving a much bigger lift than anyone expected as it struggles to raise enough money to cover its basic promises. Many donors are refusing to write checks. And on-the-ground operatives worry they won’t have the resources to build the infrastructure they need to compete effectively in next year’s midterms and in the run-up to 2020. Here in the halls of Bally's hotel and casino for the DNC's fall meeting through the weekend, state committee chairs and operatives echoed a now-common concern among donors and strategists: The DNC's...

Iran will soon have ICBMs armed with nukes by way of North Korea. Team Trump must act now By Harry J. Kazianis Published July 22, 2017 Fox News Here’s a prediction by yours truly that you can take to the bank: In just a few years Iran will have intercontinental ballistic missiles, or ICBMs, that can attack targets all over the Middle East, Europe and the United States. And it might all be thanks to the rogue state the Trump administration has labelled the biggest national security threat of our time: North Korea. Oh, and to twist the knife...

Trump ready to nuke North Korea Russian diplomats discuss a wake-up call from Washington: in case the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un tests a missile or any nuclear projectile for one more time, a massive strike against state and military facilities in North Korea will be started, as Pravda.Ru sources in the Russian Foreign Ministry revealed. This arsenal of firearms is among the dozens of weapons that have been taken off London’s streets during the Met’s latest gun amnesty. Since Monday 45 weapons have been surrendered across the capital as part of the Give Up Your Gun campaign, including shotguns, revolvers, rifles and handguns, Scotland Yard said. Detectives from the Met’s gang unit today urged anyone still in possession of an illegal firearm to hand it in before the amnesty ends on Sunday night.

Hillary Clinton’s top political adviser John Podesta said the campaign is supporting an effort by members of the Electoral College to request an intelligence briefing on foreign intervention in the presidential election. “The bipartisan electors' letter raises very grave issues involving our national security,” Podesta said in a statement Monday. “Electors have a solemn responsibility under the Constitution and we support their efforts to have their questions addressed.”

What Are California Democrats So Afraid Of? Calling for enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws struck a nerve with certain California politicians. In response to my column, “Mayors of Sanctuary Cities Who Flaunt Federal Law Should Be Arrested,” the former press secretary for recently termed-out California Senate President Darrell Steinberg, sent an email to the publisher of the Flash Report website, expressing his disdain that I called for upholding federal immigration law, and arresting those Mayors who flaunt their Sanctuary Cities in the face of the law:

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” Representative Tim Ryan (D-OH), who is challenging House Minority Leader Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), stated, “I’m pulling the fire alarm, because the house is burning down, and we better get our act together or we’re going to cease being a national party.” Ryan said, “[T]he average American, the average working-class American, flipped their middle finger to the establishment, the Democratic establishment, the Republican establishment, Wall Street. They think that everybody’s more concerned with the donor class than they the working class.” He added, “[W]e can’t keep going down the...

Russian state-owned media does little to hide its preferences in the U.S. presidential election. News reports about the race for the White House on Russian television devote most of their time to elaborating on Donald Trump’s allegations that Hillary Clinton is corrupt and the election is rigged. On his Sunday program, pro-Kremlin journalist Dmitry Kiselyov said, "Clinton has a choice. Either she gets the presidency or she goes behind bars." Kiselyov also told viewers that Clinton is backed by US security services and the media - unlike "anti-establishment" Trump. State-controlled Kremlin TV channels also highlight concerns about Clinton's health and...

Here we are in July 2019. The country is wracked by violence, hatred, and economic despair. President Hillary Clinton just declared martial law. And rumors are swirling that the 2020 presidential election might need to be suspended. How did it come to this? In retrospect, the country's direction should have been clear since before the 2016 election. All of Donald Trump's (widely believed) talk of the election being rigged, the mischief-making by WikiLeaks, the sporadic left-wing violence against the right. As Trump careened toward defeat, I think most of us naively hoped that he'd back away from his inflammatory rhetoric...

Hillary Clinton's campaign is back on the air with TV advertising in Virginia and Colorado, and has begun running ads in New Mexico and Michigan -- all states that have seemed safely out of play for most of the election cycle. "The Trump campaign claims their path to White House is through states like these but we're going to make sure those doors remain shut," said campaign spokesperson Jesse Ferguson. "Fueled by record breaking fundraising in the last 72 two hours, we are supercharging our GOTV program with these ads to make sure voters know the urgency and the stakes...

There is no way to sugarcoat this: At Sunday night’s presidential debate, Donald Trump threatened to throw Hillary Clinton in jail if he wins the presidency. This — threatening to jail one’s political opponents — is how democratic norms die. The exchange happened during a discussion of the controversy over Hillary Clinton’s private email server. Trump began by decrying Clinton’s conduct — which, according to the FBI, was quite bad but not illegal. He then proposed appointing a special prosecutor to investigate her, and warned Clinton that, if he were president now, “you’d be in jail”: TRUMP: I'll tell you...

Reports of “killer clowns” have emerged in three new states, as Virginia, Florida and Colorado struggle with Internet rumors and reported sightings that have left several towns shaken. Residents and authorities in Palm Bay, Fla., have been on high alert since a resident reported seeing two “creepy clowns” staring at her from across a road as she walked her dog. And in Marion County, Fla., deputies are concerned after it emerged that a Facebook viral video, depicting a clown standing silently on the side of the road in the dark, had been filmed along a main thoroughfare in the area....

'The Young Turks' founder Cenk Uygur responds to this footage of an audience both booing and laughing when former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist said he is voting for Hillary Clinton because she is "honest." “They LOL'd," Uygur said. "That's literally a LOL." The prominent Bernie Sanders supporter said it is time for the "Democratic establishment" to admit that they were wrong, that Sanders was the stronger candidate, and if he had been nominated he would be winning right now. "We’ve got 48 days to Armageddon," Uygur said about Trump's impending victory over Clinton. "Get your head out of your--... let’s...
