Pipe Bomb Attack at Rachel’s Tomb 05:40 Sep 14, '05 / 10 Elul 5765 (IsraelNN.com) The explosion heard on Tuesday night near Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem was a pipe bomb hurled at soldiers protecting the holy site. A search of the area revealed a second bomb ready for use. Bomb demolition technicians neutralized the device without incidents. No injuries were reported.

More Deterring Demolitions For the third night in a row IDF demolition crews were busy deterring terror by leveling the family homes of Arabs with blood on their hands. Last night troops destroyed the Rafiach home of Mohammad el-Qasir. Qasir was responsible for the shooting attack against a vehicular convoy near the Kissufim junction on February 18 of this year that left three Israelis dead. He was eventually gunned down by alert soldiers who responded to the attack.
