PHOENIX — Bristol Palin, the 20-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, has bought a five-bedroom house in Maricopa, a modest community south of Phoenix, setting off a flurry of speculation as to exactly what her plans — and those of her famous mother — are for the desert dwelling.

Though the post-election infighting between Sarah Palin and the McCain team has largely died down, the former Alaska governor took one more shot at her former running mate’s campaign on Thursday. In an interview with the Daily Caller, Palin said Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) camp didn’t do enough to defend her record when it came under attack. “To not have had the McCain campaign staff defend my record was an insurmountable challenge, because once a bell is rung, it’s impossible to un-ring,” Palin told the website.

Dear Mrs. Bachmann You once said to your many supporters about the then propose Health Care bill that "This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't pass."....You stood on principles back then but where is your principles now when you are inviting someone who certainly doesn't stand for the kind of principles you profess in to campaign for you? I'm talking about Sarah Louise Palin, that woman who sold her...

Anyone who abandons support for Sarah Palin because she campaigned for McCain is going to have to demonstrate a bit of consistency. Otherwise, sincerity and honesty are liable to come into question. The argument can be reduce to this core notion: Palin’s support of McCain means she is equivalent to McCain. In other words, in political terms she is the same thing as McCain. So if this is the way things are supposed to be done, of course we will have to abandon support for anyone else supporting McCain in the Arizona primary. Maybe this will make some of us...

Two years ago, John McCain transformed Sarah Palin overnight from an obscure first-term Alaska governor into a national celebrity when he picked her as his vice presidential running mate. Now Palin is repaying the favor, putting her prestige on the line in an effort to help the four-term Arizona senator overcome his toughest re-election challenge ever. The two campaigned together Friday for the first time since they lost the presidential race in 2008. At the first of two rallies this weekend, Palin pumped up Tea Partiers, invoking the cause of the first Tea Party in 1773. ...

Had Sarah Palin not been on the national scene right now, things would be SO MUCH WORSE! Obamacare and Cap & Tax would have passed months ago without her contributions to public discourse. (Death Panels anyone? Or her Washington Post editorial on Climategate?) Obamacare not only would have passed sooner, but it would have come without any of the "compromises." Beginning with her endorsement of Doug Hoffman in the NY-23, we take for granted how much her name lends legitimacy to the Tea Party movement and to ALL the *contested* primaries going on in the country, INCLUDING the one in...

So yeah, I'm getting sick and tired of how people are bashing Sarah Palin over her endorsement of McCain. We all know why she's doing it and she has my complete respect and support. So, anyway, conservatives are fighting amongst each other over this and it really is pathetic! On Sarah's Facebook page, people keep lamenting, whining and moaning over it, and I kept calmly trying to calm them down, but they wouldn't listen. Finally, I lost it and said: "FOR GOD'S SAKE, PEOPLE, PULL YOURSELVES TOGETHER!!!!! THIS IS NOT HOW A GROUP OF PATRIOTS ACTS!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY, DOES SOMEONE HAVE...

PHOENIX -- The day that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is set to campaign with Sen. John McCain in Tucson, another figure from the 2008 presidential election will make an appearance on the lawn of Arizona's capitol building. Samuel Wurzelbacher, more commonly known as "Joe the Plumber," is scheduled to make an appearance at Friday's "Ax the Tax" rally against Proposition 100, which institutes a temporary sales tax increase across Arizona to fill the budget shortfall. Wurzelbacher rose to fame after he questioned then-presidential-candidate Barack Obama about tax increases at a campaign rally. Both Obama and McCain referred to Wurzelbacher...

Campaign staff and volunteers of Sen. John McCain and his former vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin are preparing for the pair’s appearance at Mesa’s Dobson High School on Saturday. A spokesman for the camp offered a bit of advice for those wanting to get in: “Folks should get there early,” said Brian Rogers, McCain’s communications director. The event is free, on a first-come, first-served basis and does not require a ticket. (snip) Also speaking at a rally in Tucson on Friday, the appearances are McCain and Palin’s first ones together at a public event since their concession speech in the...

THE ISSUE: Whether presidential candidates today have character, as their predecessors did. In looking for a president with the character of Dwight Eisenhower, Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan, Ralph Peters asks, "Will we ever again have a president who didn't go to an Ivy League school, who knows what it's like to struggle -- as so many Americans struggle every day -- and who's tasted defeat, but got back in the ring with his dukes up?" ("Why Our 'Post-Modern Presidents' Fail,"). The answer is "yes." Her name is Sarah Palin. etc...

PHOENIX (AP) — John McCain and Sarah Palin are scheduled to campaign together in Arizona next week for the first time since they conceded the presidential election in Phoenix in 2008. Former Republican vice presidential nominee and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be in Arizona the last weekend of March as part of Senator John McCain's re-election campaign. Details of that trip are now starting to come into focus. McCain and his 2008 running mate will host a campaign rally in Tucson on the afternoon of Friday March 26th, before holding a high dollar fundraiser at the Arizona Biltmore later that evening. On Saturday the 27th they will hold another rally in Phoenix. For the fundraiser, $2500 gets you into the dinner as well as an hour-long pre-dinner VIP reception, including...

We’ve done a million posts about this three-way match-up but I don’t think we’ve done one yet about a key swing state. Not what I would have predicted. Florida’s the first really important stop on the GOP calendar that we’ve looked at, and Romney’s lead there is overwhelming. He gets 52% to 21% for Huckabee and 18% for Palin. It’s closer, but still a double digit advantage, in Colorado. There Romney gets 44% to 25% for Palin and 17% for Huckabee.

Why Palin shouldn’t run in 2012 By John Ziegler 03/10/10 at 12:00 AM Last week I made a rare appearance on MSNBC (a network on which I have had numerous “YouTube moments” since the 2008 election, when they became the “Obama Network”) and shared some statements which apparently shocked some of my fellow conservatives.Since even before the release of my documentary about the media coverage of Obama’s election, I have been described by many commentators (both as a compliment and as a condemnation) as Sarah Palin’s most ardent defender against the never-ending stream of unfair media attacks against her....

She’s operating a fully-formed multimedia strategy designed to counter Dr. Utopia’s razzle dazzle and media darling status. She knows in her heart Americans will want a true conservative in office in 2012, one who is smart enough to focus on jobs, the economy, energy independence, and limited government instead of allowing the media to degenerate the debate into social issues. The media is going to do everything it can to control the debate in 2012, doing its level best to hand Dr. Utopia a second term on a silver platter. The ONLY Republican we see on the field who can...
