    Granting United Nations membership to the Palestinians would create a vary dangerous precedent. The Palestinians aren't the only ethnic group that desire to have their own country independent of the one in which they live. Nor are they the only group that has used violence to try to gain independence. The Kurds have long desired to set up a country they would call Kurdistan including land currently a part of Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Iran. If the U.N. grants membership to the Palestinians, shouldn't it also grant membership to Kurdistan? The Kurds have their own culture and language. The Palestinians...

    They bombed the Foreign Ministry at 2AM and all the injured seem to be under eight years old! Watch the videos on Fox. It's almost as if the Palis put out a call for everyone who has a child to have them ready for ambulance transport to a hospital. "Rescue" workers are shown carrying children, obviously awakened during the middle of the night, but otherwise exhibiting no obvious injuries. It's hilarious! ML/NJ

    Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei on Tuesday once again submitted his resignation to President Yasser Arafat after the two had harsh exchanges of words. The London-based Asharq Al Awsat reported Wednesday that Qurei decided to quit over disputes regarding lack of reforms in the Palestinian Authority. Arafat is blamed for repeatedly blocking attempts to reform. The two leaders also clashed on the issue of the next Donor Countries conference, the report added.
