Chicago gang members outnumber cops 10 to 1 as crime spike reaches fever pitch Bradford Betz, Andrew Murray 4 hrs ago Amid nationwide calls to defund police departments and a rise in crime in major cities, the number of Chicago cops that have retired this year has already surpassed all of the retirements in 2018 and are on track to be the highest number in the department’s history. I have been watching a truly curious phenomenon over the past few days. It seems there is suddenly a movement in media to silence anyone who speaks out against George Soros—and, specifically, his funding of radical prosecutors seeking to change the criminal justice system by simply ignoring certain crimes. This happened to me personally this week while I was being interviewed on Fox’s Outnumbered. When I brought up Soros’s plan to get pro-criminal, anti-police prosecutors elected across the country, two of the show’s participants interrupted me and forcefully asserted that Soros was not involved. Host Harris Faulkner, it seemed, was...

"Both [Kamala] Harris and [Joe] Biden have talked very proudly about what they call progressive district attorneys. Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros's money. And they are a major cause of the violence we are seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street," he added. "I'm not sure we need to bring George Soros into this," interrupted Francis. "He paid for it," responded Gingrich. "No he didn't," said Democratic strategist Marie Harf. "I agree with Melissa, George Soros doesn't need to be part of this conversation." "OK?" said Gingrich, puzzled....

Just saw something strange again. Am watching "Outnumbered" again today, and as expected, they were mum on what happened yesterday, up until the 12:40 mark (see below). I was watching it today to specifically see if they would say anything. They got on the violence again, and once again it looked like the producers were dictating, this time Faulkner was on about the violence and Francis cut in with something about not knowing if she was talking. Now there's Faulkner talking about an "awkward incident", and that Fox "doesn't censor" at the 12:40 mark. Yeah Fox, thats exactly what you...

On "Outnumbered" today, Newt Gingrich is the guest. In the segment before the 10:30 break, they were discussing the unrest across the country. Gingrich brought up the issue of who is funding, and (I believe)Melissa Francis blurted George Soros. There was a pause, and Gingrich said "he funded it". More pause, then Marie Harf says "I agree, he should not be mentioned as part of this". More pause, then Gingrich says "ok, thats verboten", then more awkward silence, and then to commercial. Anyone catch that as well?

It appears the only person able to represent Andrea Tantaros in the courtroom is Andrea Tantaros. The former co-host of “Outnumbered” and “The Five” has decided, after severing ties with three different lawyers, to represent herself in a lawsuit against her former employer, Fox News. ... Given the intricate accusations she has leveled against the company — and the fact she is going up against the formidable legal team at Fox News — Tantaros will need to essentially teach herself how to practice law in order to stand a chance. “Finally, Ms. Tantaro’s case is a complex one which will...

Meghan McCain, the political scion who turned a stint as a blogger and TV show host into a role as a contributor at Fox News Channel, is leaving the network. McCain is the oldest daughter of US Sen. John McCain, the Arizona Republican and 2008 presidential candidate, who in July was diagnosed with brain cancer following a procedure to remove a blood clot above his left eye. She was seen on Fox News as one of the co-hosts on “Outnumbered,” an afternoon program that added a different male guest each day to a rotating group of female contributors. “Meghan has...

Speculation abounds as Fox News talking head Andrea Tantaros is no longer appearing on air. In response to a query from TV Newser, Fox issued a terse statement: “Issues have arisen regarding Andrea’s contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off. She is still under contract with the network.” That opens the question of what could have changed regarding her contract all of a sudden. The Examiner opens a few doors on what might (or might not) be at issue with Tantaros and the network: While not cited by FNC as a reason...

Andrea Tantaros is the host of the nationally syndicated radio show, “The Andrea Tantaros Show” on Talk Radio Network and co-host of the second highest rated show on cable, “The Five,” weekdays at 5 p.m. ET on Fox News Channel. The Washington Times has called her “the most pragmatic personality on ‘The Five’… who has already had a lifetime of experience despite only being in her 30s. Andrea’s calm, yet reasoned personality mixed with a quick tongue and biting sense of humor make her a powerful presence.” The Andrea Tantaros Show is ranked 7th largest in the country and and...

There’s a lot of buzz these days about Andrea Tantaros, known to millions of viewers as a host of the Fox News show Outnumbered. However, the buzz has nothing to do with her new book. Tantaros, who was last seen on Outnumbered on Monday, is no longer appearing on Fox, and the network will only hint at the reason why. “Issues have arisen regarding Andrea’s contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off. She is still under contract with the network,” Fox News said in a statement in reply to questions about Tantaros,...

Andrea Tantaros won’t be on Fox News Channel for the time being. TVNewser got a tip earlier today regarding Tantaros. When we reached out to FNC, they sent us this statement: “Issues have arisen regarding Andrea’s contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off. She is still under contract with the network.” Tantaros was last on Outnumbered on Monday. She got a shout-out Monday evening on The Five for her new book, Tied Up in Knots: How Getting What We Wanted Made Women Miserable. Tantaros was scheduled to call in to Bill Cunningham‘s...

'Just fed up w objectification of women in media' A sports writer and New York Times best-selling author named Jeff Pearlman was pushed into a quasi-apology after saying, via Twitter, Fox News female correspondents dressed as "hookers," per order of their bosses. He posted, alongside a photo of the female crew of Fox's well-watched "Outnumbered" this text: "Serious question: do women on Fox News get extra money for dressing as hookers? Just embarrassing." In another tweet, Pearlman wrote: "Just fed up w objectification of women in media. It's tired, old, widespread, not cool. #done." As Mediaite found, another named Steve...

Geraldo Rivera wasted no time Tuesday afternoon lighting dynamite under an Outnumbered panel and setting the thing off. The fuse: his conviction that the indictment of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson would be racially tinged, much like the trial of George Zimmerman.

Fox News psychiatrist Keith Ablow is defending controversial comments he made about Michelle Obama’s weight, arguing the first lady is not an appropriate role model for fitness. “I do dislike hypocrisy and I really do believe that people speaking about diet should be role models themselves, and I’m not sure if the first lady is that role model,” Mr. Ablow said in an interview, Politico reported. The psychiatrist drew fire Tuesday when he said among a panel of women on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” that Mrs. Obama needed to “drop a few.”
