Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry thinks Fox's Bill O'Reilly is the cat's meow, and the host hopes that Kerry's admiration will translate into a pre-election appearance on the top-rated "O'Reilly Factor." "I like Bill O'Reilly," the Democratic presidential candidate told TV Guide. "I think he does a terrific job. I think he's got a very good show." He told the Associated Press that he'd "love to" appear on "The O'Reilly Factor" and would ask his schedulers about it. For his part, O'Reilly told AP he'd been trying for about two months to book Kerry, while Kerry said he was unaware...

(KRT) - Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly, the nation's top-rated cable news host and a brash advocate of personal responsibility and self-control, was sued for sexual harassment Wednesday, reports The Los Angeles Times, by a producer on his show who says he repeatedly pressured her to engage in phone sex and frightened her with lewd "monologues." The suit, filed by Andrea Mackris, a 33-year-old associate producer on ``The O'Reilly Factor,'' quotes O'Reilly as speaking to her in highly explicit terms about vibrators, oral sex, masturbation and a fantasy in a Caribbean hotel room shower. The suit also quotes O'Reilly as...

Despite lurid charges of sexual harassment, Bill O'Reilly hasn't lost a single newspaper client for his column, and the man who heads the syndicate that distributes the column says he stands behind the top-rated host of "The O'Reilly Factor." "I'm behind him 100 percent," Creators Syndicate President Rick Newcombe told Editor & Publisher (E&P). "I think this is politically motivated. Bill is a lightning rod for criticism because he has strong views and can be very critical of the other side. He's a big target." Andrea Mackris, an associate producer on O'Reilly's Fox News Channel show, filed a lawsuit accusing...

I watched some of the ABC "news" at 5:30 PM and just watched some poofter on MSNBC. It is clear that the presstitutes of the old-timey, neocommunist, anti-American media are going after O'Reily and, indirectly, FOX, BIG TIME!!Personally, I never understood O'Reily's popularity. He is loud, rude, he interrupts EVERYONE and, when I've watched him, seems as left wing as the news readers on the non-cable oullets. But, he is vulnerable! The legal complaint of this CNN honey can be found on The Smoking Gun (TSG). MSNBC read several passages where O'Reily is accused of bragging that the head of FOX...

NEW YORK — Bill O'Reilly, whose FOX News Channel show is the highest-rated cable news program, has been accused of sexual harassment by one of his producers. O'Reilly says the complaint is a politically motivated extortion attempt. Both sides filed lawsuits Wednesday, with the woman, Andrea Mackris, saying the commentator had phone sex with her against her wishes three times. In his claim against Mackris and her attorney, Benedict Morelli, O'Reilly said Morelli demanded $60 million in "hush money" to not file the lawsuit. "As a public figure, I have received many threats," he said. "But enough is enough ......

Has anyone else noticed O'Reilly's move to the left reecently? Could he have been positioning himself to blunt the impact of the recent charges by falling more into line with the main stream media, thereby hoping to get a pass from them on this? After all, he's almost one of them now, right? Let's face it, if this were Hannity or Rush, the roar would be deafening. Not sure if I posted this correctly; sorry if it is not the way to post a vanity. I am definitely interested in people's thought's on this though.

October 14, 2004 -- Fox News personality Bill O'Reilly yesterday launched a pre-emptive legal strike against his associate producer, charging that she's trying to extort $60 million in "blood money" by threatening charges of sex harassment. "The O'Reilly Factor" host claims that the producer, Andrea Mackris, and her lawyer, Benedict Morelli, demanded the enormous payoff in exchange for not going public with their claim that O'Reilly harassed her for more than two years. Mackris, 33, immediately countered with a lawsuit of her own that accuses O'Reilly, 55, of repeatedly pressuring her to engage in phone sex and giving her explicit...

Talking Points Memo Enough is enough Hi, I'm Bill O'Reilly... thanks for watching us tonight... we are living in treacherous times. That's the subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo. Just about every famous person I know has been threatened and worked over by somebody. Fame makes you a target... it is something that has to be taken seriously. As I've mentioned before, I have received many threats over the years... everything from death letters to some guy running around the country offering people $25 thousand to sign affidavits accusing me of whatever. The lawyers here at Fox News have...

I just signed on tonight so please forgive me my errors. Somewhere, on FR I read about Bill O on fox. While I'm an oldie, almost 71, I'd ask those much smarter than me if you saw "O" salivating over the guest from TV Guide for gaining him an upcoming interview with his lordship, senator turncoat. More to the point, does anyone recall in an earlier show he said he'd known senator turncoat for 25 years, and Knew him him to be an honorable man. (You do the math please to put that in it's proper time perspective.) And lastly,...
