(CNN)North Korea sentenced a Canadian pastor Wednesday to life in prison "for subversive plots and activities," according to its state news agency. The official news agency KCNA reported that the Rev. Hyeon Soo Lim "confessed to all heinous crimes he had committed." The report accused Lim of having "committed anti-DPRK religious activities, conducted false propaganda among overseas Koreans, and took active part in the operation of the U.S. and (a South Korean) conservative group to lure and abduct DPRK citizens ... in their programs for 'aiding defectors from the north.' " North Korea already had detained him for 10 months.

The deranged terrorists have issued a religious decree to its members authorising them to "kill newborn babies with Down's Syndrome". Vile ISIS terror thugs have issued a fatwa to kill babies and children with Down's Syndrome, it has been reported. Iraqi activist group Mosul Eye says the ISIS Shar'ia Board issued a savage "oral fatwa (an Islamic term for a religious decree)" to its members authorising them to "kill newborn babies with Down's Syndrome and congenital deformities and disabled children". If true - and reports from the war-torn region are difficult to verify - it means ISIS has taken a...

A senior Pentagon official admitted to the Washington Free Beacon late Monday that Afghan forces allied with U.S. troops in the war-torn country have been caught sexually abusing children. The admission comes on the heels of reports that the Obama administration has been punishing U.S. soldiers who blew the whistle on this sexual abuse.U.S. lawmakers early Monday expressed shock and outrage over the report and called on Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Join Chiefs of Staff, to immediately address a policy of ordering U.S. troops to ignore such sexual abuse. When asked about the practice, a Pentagon official admitted that such...

The White House dodged questions Monday about allegations that U.S. military officials are ordering U.S. soldiers to ignore child abuse in Afghanistan committed by Afghan militia, military and police, and instead indicated that those orders reflect Defense Department policy that the White House is not reviewing. "For the rules of engagement and the kind of structure that's in place to guide the relationship between the United States and Afghan members of the military, I'd refer you to the Department of Defense for that," White House spokesman Josh Earnest said. Earnest was pressed further to say whether President Obama is looking...

After the sixth suicide in his old battalion, Manny Bojorquez sank onto his bed. With a half-empty bottle of Jim Beam beside him and a pistol in his hand, he began to cry. He had gone to Afghanistan at 19 as a machine-gunner in the Marine Corps. In the 18 months since leaving the military, he had grown long hair and a bushy mustache. It was 2012. He was working part time in a store selling baseball caps and going to community college while living with his parents in the suburbs of Phoenix. He rarely mentioned the war to friends...

My father, who saw some pretty terrible sights during World War 2, used to frequently tell me that bad things happen in war, but I don’t think he ever ran into anything like this. A story breaking over the weekend reveals that our “Afghan allies” have been engaged in a sick practice referred to as “boy play” in the common parlance. This essentially translates into abducting, imprisoning and raping young boys, keeping them as sex slaves. As if that wasn’t shocking enough, it’s apparently been standing policy for some time now that US soldiers were told to turn a...
